With Sun in Leo, it’s more appropriate to manifest and be involved with Leo-related attributes and activities such as becoming more loving and romantic; connecting more with children and loved ones; fun, parties, entertainment, hobbies, and recreation; theater, art, and creative endeavors; taking on more of a leadership role; being on stage and projecting your confidence; and being involved with what is more dramatic and glamorous.
Mercury Direct
Thursday evening ET, Mercury turns direct, which should relieve many people, because Mercury retrograde periods tend to be problematic. Clients and subscribers often complain about the havoc Mercury Retrograde plays with their phones, computers, data, and everyday affairs.
Mercury turning direct is also significant because there are usually substantial shifts and changes in our plans, decisions, negotiations, projects, and relationships around the days Mercury goes retrograde and direct.
Also, the choices you made and the plans you started when Mercury was retrograde the past three weeks are now seen differently as unforeseen assumptions and mistakes “come to light” because Mercury, the planet ruling thinking and communication, is changing direction relative to the earth’s movement.
The war in Iran, which started during Mercury Retrograde, is relevant. “A dangerous lack of strategy in Iran. Increasingly, the truth appears to be that the president of the United States has started a war without any idea of how to end it.” New York Times editorial board, March 17, 2026
All this does not mean everything will now be fine and dandy for you and the world with Mercury Direct. Nor does this mean everything was supposed to go wrong the past three weeks when Mercury was retrograde. The past three weeks may have been outstanding for you, with many benefits.
Trump Mars
With Mars related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars moving from 15 to 20 degrees of Gemini this week is challenging the planets and points you have at 15 to 20 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces.
With President Trump being a Gemini, he is being challenged by Mars in Gemini, which increases the likelihood of conflicts, urgency, aggression, impulsiveness, and physical danger. Specifically, Mars is particularly active in his chart from now through early August, aspecting his Uranus, Moon, and Sun.
We will see how this plays out for him with tensions in Iran and other challenges in the USA and around the world.

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may be challenging to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish, no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense enables you to make more informed decisions and take more effective actions.
The basic premise with right timing is that having the “stars” on your side helps. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or major purchase at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success, regardless of how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
The Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters will likely come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings, versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you.
