The most significant astrological factors currently are Saturn turning retrograde this past Sunday and Mercury turning retrograde this coming Friday.
Saturn Retrograde
On Sunday, Saturn, the planet of delays, tests, and challenges, turned retrograde at 02 degrees Aries, which means that those with planets and points at 02 degrees Aries, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn have been and are likely experiencing delays, tests, and challenges. When an outer planet, such as Saturn, moves from direct to retrograde and from retrograde to direct, a test, problem, or challenge that typically takes a week or so to transpire by transit can extend for weeks depending on the planets involved.
Mercury Retrograde
Early this Friday morning, Mercury goes retrograde, which means you are likely experiencing shifts in your thinking, attitudes, and plans. From my research, the five days before and after Mercury goes retrograde are the most significant days for Mercury Retrograde.
Unfortunately, many believe everything goes wrong when Mercury is retrograde. Still, many successful organizations, companies, corporations, and individuals have Mercury retrograde in their horoscopes.
Additionally, many people blame Mercury Retrograde for their problems and mishaps, when in fact, more significant factors are contributing to their difficulties, such as Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto making challenging aspects to important planets and points in their horoscope.
Furthermore, Mercury retrograde periods favor inward-oriented activities such as reflection, reviewing, and meditation, making this a good time for writing, editing, researching, and problem-solving.
However, with Mercury ruling thoughts and communication, there will likely be more “mess-ups” and complications than usual, including mental lapses and mistakes, misunderstandings, false assumptions, missed appointments, lost checks, written typos, cancellations, and postponements.
Most importantly, the decisions you make and the plans you start with Mercury retrograde are more likely to take a twist and be seen differently when unforeseen assumptions and mistakes “come to light” after Mercury goes direct.

Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may be challenging to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense enables you to make more informed decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the “stars” on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters will likely come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings, versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you.
