Sun In Pisces
Last Wednesday, Sun entered Pisces, the sign related to flow, imagination, meditation, mysticism, and the arts. Sun in Pisces until March 20, the Vernal Equinox, favors Pisces, and to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and highlights the house in your horoscope ruled by Pisces. For example, if Pisces rules your eleventh house, the house related to friends, acquaintances, groups, communities, and non-profits, these activities are more likely to benefit you and come to the forefront.
Sun in Pisces supports anyone’s involvement with Pisces-related attitudes and activities such as music, dancing, painting, movies, theater, film, drama, poetry, fiction, and photography; working with dreams, imagination, and the subconscious; anything spiritually oriented such as prayer, yoga, and meditation; and unselfishly helping those in need including the sick and less fortunate.
Furthermore, with Sun in Pisces, it’s a more favorable time to practice the positive attributes associated with Pisces (many of which we could all use): kind, sensitive, compassionate, loving, charitable, self-sacrificing, believing, receptive, imaginative, and artistic.
Here Comes Mercury Retrograde
During the next ten days, you will likely experience some important shifts in your thinking, attitudes, and plans. Furthermore, it would be helpful if you are more careful with your decisions because, from my research, the five days before and after Mercury goes retrograde (in this case, Thursday, February 26) and the five days before and after Mercury goes direct (March 20) are the most significant days for Mercury Retrograde.
Unfortunately, many people believe that everything will go wrong when Mercury is retrograde. Still, many successful organizations, companies, corporations, and individuals have Mercury retrograde in their horoscopes.
Also, too many people blame Mercury Retrograde for their problems and mishaps when, in fact, more significant factors are contributing to their difficulties, such as Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto making challenging aspects to important planets and points in their horoscope.
Furthermore, Mercury retrograde periods are favorable for inward-oriented activities such as reflection, reviewing, and meditation, making this a good time for writing, editing, researching, and problem-solving.
However, with Mercury ruling thoughts and communication, there will likely be more “mess-ups” and complications than usual, along with mental lapses and mistakes, misunderstandings, false assumptions, missed appointments, lost checks, written typos, cancellations, and postponements. For example, you are more likely to encounter longer delays, misplaced luggage, lost hotel room keys, unforeseen detours, and inaccurate directions when you travel.
Most importantly, the decisions you make and the plans you start with Mercury retrograde are more likely to take a twist and be seen in a different light when unforeseen assumptions and mistakes “come to light” after Mercury goes direct.

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may be challenging to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish, no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense enables you to make more informed decisions and take more effective actions.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the “stars” on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or major purchase at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success, regardless of how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
The Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters will likely come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings, versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you.
