Scorpio Time
Friday morning, the Sun exits Libra and enters Scorpio, joining Mercury and Venus, both retrograde, in Scorpio. This shift benefits Scorpio and, to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces, as well as the house in your horoscope ruled by Scorpio.
I have always said that Scorpio is the most complex of all the signs, reinforced by the fact that each astrological sign has a symbol, and three symbols are associated with Scorpio. First, the Scorpion represents the sign’s worst tendencies, seeking prey to sting and kill. Second is the Eagle, which can fly closer to the Sun than any other bird and is a fierce hunter here on Earth. Third is the Phoenix, the mystical bird that can transform and renew itself by rising from its ashes to become new.
With the Sun in Scorpio for the coming month, it can help you focus on Scorpio’s positive qualities: becoming more determined, persistent, passionate, searching, probing, rejuvenating, ambitious, and psychic.
Mercury Retrograde
Saturday morning, Mercury turns retrograde in Scorpio, so you will likely experience important shifts in your thinking, attitudes, and plans because, based on my research, the five days before and after Mercury goes retrograde are the most significant days for Mercury Retrograde periods.
Furthermore, it would be helpful if you were more careful with your decisions because, with Mercury ruling thoughts and communication, there will likely be more “mess-ups” and complications than usual, along with mental lapses and mistakes, misunderstandings, false assumptions, missed appointments, lost checks, written typos, cancellations, and postponements.
Keep in mind, though, that too many people blame Mercury Retrograde for their problems and mishaps when, in fact, more significant factors contribute to their difficulties, such as Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto forming challenging aspects to important planets and points in their horoscopes.
Current Sun Sign Factors
These sun-sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know. Beyond your Sun sign degree, many other factors matter that these newsletters cannot cover, such as transits to your Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Ascendant, and Midheaven degrees.
However, knowing the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the positions of the slower-moving planets (Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto in Aquarius) can create significant trends and events in your life.
To use this information correctly, you need your Sun sign degree, which is not your date of birth. If you need your Sun sign degree, please call me. I will calculate it for you.

Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They offer more information and guidance, but it can be hard to sort through everything out with so many factors at play, even for astrology students. Therefore, I keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor in right timing is what is happening in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, your chances of success with right timing diminish, no matter how favorable the planetary aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover everything occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense helps you make more informed decisions and act more effectively.
The basic premise with right timing is that having the “stars” on your side helps. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or major purchase at an inopportune time reduces your success, no matter how good your intentions are or how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
The Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters will likely come together more for you in the short term unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings rather than describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. To understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, you must consider dozens of factors besides one’s sun sign.
