Capricorn Stellium: Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Thursday, January 08, 2026

One of the basic principles of astrology is “there’s a time for everything,” and now coldness, darkness, and loneliness have been more likely due to the strong presence of Capricorn in the sky.

The Sun’s entrance into Capricorn on December 21 marked the winter solstice, the northern hemisphere’s darkest day. It’s when people tend to stay at home, bundle up, and feel more cut off from the outside world because of the coldness and darkness of the days.

Also, on December 15, Mars entered Capricorn, on December 24, Venus entered Capricorn, and on January 01, Mercury entered Capricorn. When four or more planets are in a sign, it’s called a stellium, which highlights the qualities of that sign.

Contact me to know what this stellium means for you.

Capricorn

Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is related to darkness, loneliness, discouragement, negativity, melancholy, sadness, and depression. Capricorns born in winter’s darkness tend to be more somber, realistic, critical, and negative than the other signs. In ancient times, winter was a time of harsh realities of survival. It was a time to work hard and make it through tough times, which is very much Saturn-like.

Saturn is also related to truth. We often wish things were different from what they are, but the harsh reality of our lives can be painful to face and scrutinize.

It’s now favorable to be honest about your life and to question your values and efforts. Ask, “What is the honest reality about my life, including my relationships, health, finances, and career, and what can I do to make things better?”

With any test and challenge, there are always balances and solutions, such as Mars-related exercising, which warms the body and increases motivation and energy levels.

Another Saturn balance is Jupiter, the planet of hope. Keep praying for and visualizing all the people and things in your life that support and comfort you. Realize that the winter’s darkness will decrease, and the daily light will increase as the days move forward.

And finally, with the current emphasis on Capricorn, it’s appropriate to be more Capricorn-like with the positive qualities of patience, discipline, sacrifice, and hard work.

So, stay warm, active, and connected with others. Don’t let the coldness and darkness get you down.

Current Sun Sign Factors

These sun-sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know. Besides your Sun sign degree, there are many other factors to consider that these newsletters cannot cover, such as the transits to your Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Ascendant, and Midheaven degrees. However, awareness of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the positions of the slower-moving planets (Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Pisces, Uranus in Taurus, Neptune in Pisces, and Pluto in Aquarius) can create significant trends and events in your life.

To use this information correctly, you need to know the degree of your Sun sign, but the degree of your Sun sign is not your date of birth. If you need to know the degree of your Sun, please call me. I will calculate it for you.

Lunar Aspects

With Moon in Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio this coming week, the most important lunar aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the listed times. Instead, they provide some of the possibilities you can expect around the times given, so that you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.

Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the time to your time zone. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour time difference, so you must subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes, there is a + and – lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.

Thursday, January 08

12:45 PM – (Moon in Virgo 180 Saturn in Pisces) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.

02:49 PM + (Moon in Virgo 120 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome.

06:22 PM – (Moon in Virgo 180 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the likelihood of haziness and emotional confusion, making it less ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

07:05 PM ET Moon enters Libra, where it remains until Saturday morning, when it enters the next sign, Scorpio.

Friday, January 09

12:46 AM + (Moon in Libra 120 Pluto in Aquarius) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings.

05:40 PM + (Moon in Libra 150 Node in Pisces) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.

Saturday, January 10

10:08 AM + (Moon in Libra 90 Jupiter in Cancer) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including parties, meetings, social gatherings, and working with the public. Additionally, this lunar aspect enhances the likelihood of kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, and uplifting emotional support.

10:11 AM – (Moon in Libra 90 Mars in Capricorn) opportunities for bolder and more direct actions. However, this aspect intensifies feelings and passions, leading to impatience, rashness, impulsiveness, anger, and even forceful actions.

12:54 PM + (Moon in Libra 90 Venus in Capricorn) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affection, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

11:35 PM – (Moon in Libra 150 Saturn in Pisces) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.

Sunday, January 11

01:19 AM – (Moon in Libra 150 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventurous. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.

05:15 AM – (Moon in Libra 150 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the likelihood of haziness and emotional confusion, making it less ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
05:55 AM ET Moon enters Scorpio, where it remains until early Tuesday evening when it enters the next sign, Sagittarius.

Moon in the water sign Scorpio boosts Scorpio and, to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces. Moon in Scorpio also helps any planets and points you have in Scorpio and should bring together more things for Scorpio in the short term.

Moon in Scorpio supports involvement in Scorpio-related attitudes and activities, such as being more attuned to intimacy, sexuality, and power issues; working on deeper emotions and feelings such as anger and resentment; focusing on self-transformation, esoteric studies, and the mysteries of life; any scientific exploration and research; and dealing with mortgages, taxes, insurance, wills, surgery, medical records, brokerage accounts, and credit card statements as well as plumbing, sewerage, air conditioning, and recycling.

12:02 PM – (Moon in Scorpio 90 Pluto in Aquarius) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships through subtle yet emotionally charged situations, such as manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, though you may only fully realize these factors later.

Monday, January 12

09:45 PM + (Moon in Scorpio 120 Jupiter in Cancer) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including parties, meetings, social gatherings, and working with the public.  Additionally, this lunar aspect enhances the likelihood of kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, and uplifting emotional support.

06:33 PM Moon enters the next sign, Sagittarius.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may be challenging to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish, no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense enables you to make more informed decisions and take more effective actions.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the “stars” on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or major purchase at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success, regardless of how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.

The Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters will likely come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings, versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one’s sun sign must be considered.

Contact me to know what’s going on in your horoscope and to make better decisions at better times. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life, as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
