As the war in Ukraine enters the fourth week, articles like this one from Reuters dominate the news.
“Russian forces in Ukraine are blasting cities and killing civilians but no longer making progress on the ground, Western countries said on Thursday, as a war Moscow was thought to have hoped to win within days entered its fourth week. Amid the unrelenting fighting, both sides have spoken of progress at talks. Ukrainian officials have said they think Russia is running out of troops to keep fighting and could soon come to terms with its failure to topple the Ukrainian government. Moscow has said it is close to agreeing a formula that would keep Ukraine neutral, long one of its demands.
Moscow said peace talks resumed on Thursday by video link for a fourth straight day, discussing military, political and humanitarian issues. A top aide to Zelensky said Ukraine still maintained its core demand, that it retains sovereignty over areas occupied since 2014 by Russian and pro-Russian forces.”
Two significant aspects are now relevant for you and the world, especially the war in Ukraine. Any child born and any meeting, trip, project, and decision, for example, around this week will have the qualities of these two aspects.
Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Pisces peaks on Monday. In effect for a week, this favorable aspect occurs once a year and brings a wealth of ideas, intellectual success, and the gift of speech. It is associated with the writer, scientist, and trial attorney. People with this aspect are open-minded, optimistic, and want to broaden their experiences. They have writing, teaching, language skills, and an ability to grasp the big picture.
This aspect is favorable for decisions, agreements, and contracts. Mercury rules discussions, plans, paperwork, and deals. Jupiter rules hope, opportunities, advantages, and success. Hopefully, this aspect will contribute to favorable agreements with the war in Ukraine. In fact, it is an ideal time to do so.
This Mercury-Jupiter aspect brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 19 degrees of any sign, especially Pisces and the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and the other mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius.
Unfortunately, the most crucial aspect now active is Mars in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus. In effect this past week and active until the middle of next week, this challenging aspect is undoubtedly relevant for the war in Ukraine. It increases the possibilities for shocks, disputes, controversies, intolerances, instability, restlessness, uncertainty, violence, aggression, accidents, shootings, weather extremes, and natural disasters.
For most people (depending on their horoscope and personal cycles), nothing special will happen, but those with their Sun, Moon, planets, and points at twelve and thirteen degrees of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius), should be more vigilant.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, direct at 18 degrees Pisces, brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 19 degrees of any sign, especially Pisces and the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and the other mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius.
Saturn direct and approaching 22 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 22 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 22 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus direct at 12 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 12 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

This Void is more than three hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
