Two Shifts

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Wednesday, July 21, 2021

Moon in the earth sign Capricorn from early Wednesday evening until Friday evening boosts Capricorn, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo. Moon in Capricorn also helps any planets and points you have in Capricorn and should bring together more things for Capricorn on a short-term basis.

Moon in Capricorn supports anyone’s involvement with Capricorn-related attitudes and activities such as defining and working toward longer-range goals; being more organized, disciplined, resourceful, economical, practical, and task-oriented; connecting with people in positions of power and authority; and improving your professional profile and impressions.

Two Shifts

The two shifts explained below are significant but not nearly as important as the Mars-Pluto aspect highlighted in my last newsletter. This intense combination in effect this week increased the possibilities for unrest, turmoil, violence, assaults, injuries, cruelty, murders, explosions, extreme weather, hurricanes, and natural disasters. It also intensified any controversy, issue, and difference, such as the coronavirus.

This aspect is particularly relevant for anyone with planets and points around 25 degrees of any sign, especially Aries, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

The first shift is Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, leaving Leo and entering Virgo this evening. This shift brings blessings and benefits to Virgo, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Virgo until August 16 when it enters the next sign, Libra.

The second shift is Sun’s entrance into Leo tomorrow morning, where it remains until August 23, when it enters the next sign, Virgo. Sun in Leo gives a boost to Leo, and to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Aries and Sagittarius. Sun in Leo also helps any planets and points you have in Leo and should bring together more things for Leo on a short-term basis.

With Sun in Leo, it’s more appropriate to manifest and be involved with Leo-related attributes and activities such as becoming more loving and romantic; connecting more with children and loved ones; fun, parties, entertainment, hobbies, and recreation; theater, art, and creative endeavors; taking on more of a leadership role; being on stage and projecting your confidence; and being involved with what is more dramatic and glamorous.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Mars in Leo from June 11 until July 29 energizes Leo, and to a lesser degree, helps the other fire signs, Aries and Sagittarius. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also challenge Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, retrograde at 0.5 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 00 degrees Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and especially Pisces.

Saturn retrograde at 11 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 11 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 11 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Uranus at 14.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 15 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 15 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.

Neptune retrograde at 23 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 23 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 23 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Pluto retrograde at 25.5 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 25 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 25 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Lunar Aspects

The most important Moon in Capricorn lunar aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.

Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.

Wednesday, July 21

06:36 PM Moon enters Capricorn, where it remains until Friday evening when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.

Thursday, July 22

10:37 AM (Moon in Capricorn 150 Node in Gemini) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.

06:25 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 120 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for instincts, intuition, and forward-looking aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome, especially anything involving business and professional matters because this aspect involves the earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn.

08:13 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 45 Jupiter in Pisces) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

09:20 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 135 Venus in Virgo) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

Friday, July 23

12:34 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 00 Pluto in Capricorn) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for influential, productive, and psychic females. This aspect also increases the possibilities for practical and concrete business plans and deeper feelings and psychic impressions.

01:48 PM - (Moon in Capricorn 150 Mars in Leo) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect magnifies feelings, passions, motivations and brings upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.

01:48 PM Moon in Capricorn Void until 08:12 PM when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.

This Void is more than six hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it can be not easy to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.

We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
