Moon in the air sign Libra from early Sunday afternoon until early Tuesday evening boosts Libra and, to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Gemini and Aquarius. Moon in Libra also helps any planets and points you have in Libra and should bring together more things for Libra on a short-term basis.
Libra New Moon
This afternoon at 05:54 PM EDT, Sun and Moon align at 03 degrees Libra to form a New Moon. New Moons represent new beginnings and fresh starts, and this one places favorable emphasis on the house in your horoscope ruled by Libra and any planets and points you have around 03 degrees of the other air signs, Gemini and Aquarius.
This New Moon supports anyone’s involvement with Libra-related activities such as fostering relationships and diplomacy by being more interactive and accommodating; being more aware of their friends, partners, and clients; and expressing oneself artistically and creatively, including making everything around you more beautiful and harmonious.
The Big Clash
My September 13, 2022 newsletter stated, “A square aspect between two major stress-producing planets, Saturn and Uranus, dominated the sky last year. This significant aspect is back again, but it does not become exact. Still, Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus are now within a degree of each other, and later this month, they will become almost exactly square. This has important implications for anyone with their Sun and other points at 19 and 20 degrees of most of the signs.”
And now, with it being “later in this month,” we have the following headlines.

Sun Sign Updates
To use this information correctly, you need to know the degree of your Sun sign, but the degree of your Sun is not your date of birth. For example, if you were born on September 27, the degree of your Sun is around 05 degrees Libra. If you were born on October 15, the degree of your Sun is around 22 degrees Libra. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
12:20 PM - (Moon in Libra 90 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.
12:20 PM Moon in Libra Void until 07:14 PM when it enters the next sign, Scorpio.
This Void is almost seven hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. As a result, what you start or implement is less likely to turn out as planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose than to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy for you to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise of right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you short-term unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
