Summer Solstice
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Sunday, June 20, 2021
Moon in the water sign Scorpio from Sunday morning until Tuesday morning boosts Scorpio, and to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces. Moon in Scorpio also helps any planets and points you have in Scorpio and should bring together more things for Scorpio on a short-term basis.
Moon in Scorpio also supports anyone’s involvement with Scorpio-related attitudes and activities such as being more attuned to intimacy, sexuality, and power issues; working on deeper emotions and feelings such as anger and resentment; focusing on self-transformation, esoteric studies, and the mysteries of life; any scientific exploration and research; and dealing with mortgages, taxes, insurance, wills, surgery, medical records, brokerage accounts, and credit card statements as well as plumbing, sewerage, air conditioning, and recycling.
Summer Solstice
This evening at 11:32 PM EDT, Sun moves from Gemini to Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice, the official start of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
Solstices and Equinoxes are important because the entrance of the Sun into the Cardinal signs (Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn) marks the official beginning of another season (Spring Summer Fall Winter), which symbolizes the start of new “energies.” In Latin, Cardinal means “that on which something turns.”
Some countries celebrate these days, and some astrologers establish horoscopes based on these moments to make quarterly global and political forecasts.
The shift from Gemini to Cancer favors the water signs (Cancer Scorpio Pisces) and benefits the house which Cancer rules in your horoscope. For example, if Cancer rules your sixth house, you will and should be more focused on activities related to your health, diet, and exercise, your everyday habits and duties, and your job, work routine, and fellow employees.
With Cancer now more emphasized, it’s an excellent time to work on and be more involved with Cancer-related factors such as family, home, food, cooking, gardening, antiques, and domestic needs as well as agriculture, farming, real estate, and land development.
Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Cancer from June 02 until June 27 brings blessings and benefits to Cancer, and, to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Scorpio and Pisces, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Cancer. Check your planets’ positions in Cancer to know when Venus will benefit your horoscope until June 27.
Mars in Leo from June 11 until July 29 energizes Leo, and to a lesser degree, helps the other fire signs, Aries and Sagittarius. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also challenge Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 02 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 02 degrees Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and especially Pisces.
Saturn retrograde at 13 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 13 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 13 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus at 13.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points at 14 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 14 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.
Neptune at 23 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 23 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 23 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Pluto retrograde at 26 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 26 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 26 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Lunar Aspects
The most important Moon in Scorpio lunar aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.
Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.
Sunday, June 20
07:57 AM Moon enters Scorpio, where it remains until Tuesday morning when it enters the next sign, Sagittarius.
11:35 AM + (Moon in Scorpio 120 Jupiter in Pisces) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
05:29 PM - (Moon in Scorpio 90 Mars in Leo) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect magnifies feelings, passions, motivations and brings upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.
Monday, June 21
01:34 AM + (Moon in Scorpio 150 Node in Gemini) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with groups large and small.
05:08 AM - (Moon in Scorpio 90 Saturn in Aquarius) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
06:02 AM - (Moon in Scorpio 180 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
09:56 PM + (Moon in Scorpio 120 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations.
11:00 PM + (Moon in Scorpio 120 Venus in Cancer) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
Tuesday, June 22
02:43 AM + (Moon in Scorpio 60 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for influential, productive, and psychic females.
02:43 AM Moon in Scorpio Void until 08:55 AM when it enters the next sign, Sagittarius.
This Void is more than six hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it can be difficult to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
