Stop and Go

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Saturday, January 08, 2022

Moon in the fire sign Aries from early Saturday morning until Monday morning boosts Aries, and to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius. Moon in Aries also helps any planets and points you have in Aries and should bring together more things for Aries on a short-term basis.

Moon in Aries also supports anyone’s involvement with Aries-related activities and attitudes such as being more spontaneous, direct, assertive, forceful, courageous, and competitive; exploring, innovating, and crusading; and physical efforts such as manual labor, exercising, and working out.

Stop and Go

With Moon Aries and Sun in Capricorn, we have a tense and high-energy Sun-Moon combination. The earth of Capricorn and the fire of Aries create molten lava.

If Capricorn and Aries are emphasized in your horoscope or in your relationships, or to a lesser degree, your first and tenth houses, you have some significant challenges to understand and work through due to the basic differences between these two signs.

Stress and conflicts are more likely. Capricorn is stop signs. Aries is green lights. One part of you wants to leap forward, and the other part of you wants to stop and think first.

Capricorn ruled by Saturn, thrives on caution, format, and responsibilities. It wants things mapped out. It’s action after much foresight and planning. Aries ruled by Mars thrives on spontaneity and freedom. Action and initiatives are more critical than pause and planning.

Capricorn is the responsible parent directing the child and setting parameters for what is proper. Aries is the youngster at the grocery checkout counter, impulsively grabbing candy off the shelves.

Capricorn is tradition: what is tried and proven. Aries is new: what is fresh and different. Capricorn wants assurance and results, while Aries wants excitement with few rules and boundaries. Capricorn wants to be sure. Aries likes to jump in and get going.

Neither sign is particularly emotional. They are more into the outer world of action and accomplishment. They need to balance their lives by slowing down and becoming more reflective and inward-oriented.

On the plus side, the ruling planets Saturn and Mars relate to work, willpower, and determination. So, this sign combination can achieve many things with the energy and motivation Mars provides and the focus and steady efforts Saturn provides.

Professionally, a Capricorn-Aries emphasis is favorable for any challenging field or endeavor that requires energy, initiative, and persistence. Many clients with this emphasis are executives, entrepreneurs, and business owners.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Capricorn for four months, from November 05 until March 06, brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and, to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn.

Mars in Sagittarius from December 13 until January 24 energizes Sagittarius, and to a lesser degree, helps the other fire signs, Aries and Leo. However, related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars will also challenge Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, direct at 02 degrees Pisces, brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 02 degrees of any sign, especially Pisces.

Saturn direct at 13 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 13 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 13 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Uranus retrograde at 11 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 11 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 11 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.

Neptune direct at 21 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 21 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 21 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Pluto direct at 26 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 26 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 26 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Lunar Aspects

The most important Moon in Aries aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.

Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, so you need to subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.

Saturday, January 08

12:25 AM Moon entered Aries, where it remains until Monday morning when it enters the next sign, Taurus.

04:30 PM + (Moon in Aries 00 Chiron in Aries) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for family matters and healing relationships.

Sunday, January 09

11:00 AM + (Moon in Aries 90 Venus in Capricorn) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

01:11 PM - (Moon Aries 90 Sun in Capricorn) the exact time of the Quarter Moon involving the Sun and Moon highlighted at the top of this newsletter.

Monday, January 10

02:23 AM - (Moon in Aries 90 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

02:23 AM Moon in Aries Void until 09:46 AM when it enters the next sign, Taurus.

This Void is more than seven hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy for you to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.

To know what’s going on in your horoscope, and to make better decisions at better times, contact me. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
