Still On Alert (01-13-21)

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report

The nasty Mars-Saturn aspect, highlighted in my last newsletter and summarized below, is still in effect. Today this aspect is magnified. Moon will be making challenging aspects to Mars and Saturn as well Neptune and Uranus, as described later in this newsletter under the lunar aspects.

In effect this past week, Mars square Saturn is one of the nastier planetary aspects because it involves a clash between two major stress-producing planets. With a challenging Mars-Saturn aspect in the sky or your horoscope, everything intensifies. Issues, differences, and controversies come into focus. Tensions run high. Frustrations, fears, delays, disputes, bitterness, and uncertainties are more likely.

This aspect is also related to weather extremes, accidents, aggressions, shootings, violence, murders, escalated military tensions, and natural disasters such as earthquakes, wildfires, and hurricanes.

One could attribute this nasty aspect to the deadly siege of our Capital last Wednesday and the resulting consequences, the continued threats to upset the presidential inauguration next week, the second impeachment process, the Indonesia jet which lost 62 people on board, the growing coronavirus surge, and the challenges with the vaccine distribution.

For most people (depending on their horoscope and personal cycles), nothing special is happening related to this aspect, but those with their Sun, Moon, planets, and points around three degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius should be more vigilant.

Moon in Aquarius

Moon in the air sign Aquarius from late Wednesday morning until late Friday afternoon boosts Aquarius, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Gemini and Libra. Moon in Aquarius also helps any planets and points you have in Aquarius and should bring together more things for Aquarius on a short-term basis.

Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Aquarius also supports anyone’s involvement with Aquarius-related attitudes and activities such as analyzing, observing, questioning, experimenting and investigating; exploring what is new, novel, unusual, progressive, and nonconforming; science, technology, engineering, computers, electronics, inventions, and aviation; and working with clubs, organizations, special interest groups, and philanthropic and charitable organizations.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Capricorn from January 08 until February 01, brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo and the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn. Check your planets’ exact positions in Sagittarius to know when Venus will bring benefits to your horoscope during the next four weeks.

Mars in Taurus from January 06 until March 03 boosts Taurus, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also be challenging Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 06 degrees Aquarius brings opportunities for anyone born around the twenty-seventh of any month, especially January, April, May, June, July, August, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 06 degrees.

Saturn at 03 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for an Aquarius born around January 24 as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone born around the twenty-fourth of January, April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 03 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Uranus retrograde at 07 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 28 and anyone with planets and points around 08 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the twenty-eighth of January, April, July, September, October, and November, as well as for anyone with planets and points around 07 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus is also creating possible breakthroughs, advances, and opportunities for a Virgo born around August 28 and a Capricorn born around December 28.

Neptune at 18.5 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born around the ninth of March, June, August, September, October, and December and anyone with planets and points around 18 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 09 and a Scorpio born around November 09.

Pluto at 24.5 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 15 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fourteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 25 degrees of the above signs.

Lunar Aspects with Moon in Aquarius

Wednesday, January 13

11:43 AM Moon entered Aquarius, where it remains until late Friday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Pisces.

05:11 PM + - (Moon in Aquarius 00 Saturn in Aquarius) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect can also be challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.

05:29 PM - (Moon in Aquarius 90 Mars in Aries) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect can magnify feelings and passions and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.

06:16 PM - (Moon in Aquarius 45 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

09:54 PM + (Moon in Aquarius 00 Jupiter in Aquarius) this wonderful once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

11:29 PM - (Moon in Aquarius 90 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.

Thursday, January 14

04:28 AM + (Moon in Aquarius 00 Mercury in Aquarius) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, communication, and writing because this aspect creates a more active mind, especially with anything new, different, and exciting because this aspect is in the sign Aquarius.

Friday, January 15

05:25 AM + (Moon in Aquarius 45 Venus in Capricorn) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

05:25 AM Moon in Aquarius Void until 05:17 PM when it enters the next sign, Pisces.

This Void is almost twelve hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

Remember that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing the start of a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed above are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time listed. The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences. These lunar aspects can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.

The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.

We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
