Spring Is Here

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Thursday, March 18, 2021

Overall, the stars continue to be harmonious with no major warnings or alerts. Still, you may be facing difficulties if, for example, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are challenging your horoscope.

Aquarius and Pisces continue to be active in the sky with Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius and Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Neptune in Pisces. But a shift starts Saturday, the first day of Spring, when the Sun enters Aries after being in Pisces for the last 30 days. We move from contemplating how it feels (Pisces) to taking more direct action (Aries).

With Sun in Aries, it’s more appropriate to manifest and be involved with Aries-related attributes and activities such as initiative, independence, competition, leadership, crusading, innovation, pioneering, exploring, athletics, outdoor activities, and manual labor.

Some say springtime begins on March first when the weather tends to warm, but the meteorological start of Spring is when the sun crosses the equator and is tilted neither toward nor away from the sun. This occurs at the same instant around the globe, 05:37 AM Saturday EDT, marking the Vernal Equinox, the first day of Spring.

The first day of each season corresponds with the first degree of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, which are called the Cardinal signs of the zodiac. They tend to be more action-oriented than the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius) and the mutable signs (Gemini Virgo Sagittarius Pisces).

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Pisces from February 25 until March 21 brings blessings and benefits to Pisces, and to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Pisces. Check your planets’ positions in Pisces to know when Venus will bring benefits to your horoscope.

Mars in Gemini from March 03 until April 23 boosts Gemini, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will be challenging Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Pisces. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress and aggravations in your life.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 21 degrees Aquarius brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 21 degrees, especially Aquarius.

Saturn at 10.5 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 11 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 11 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Uranus at 08.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points at 09 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus is also creating possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 09 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.

Neptune at 21 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 21 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 21 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Pluto at 26.5 degrees Capricorn is a positive influence for anyone born at 27 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 27 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Lunar Aspects

The most important Moon in Gemini lunar aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.

Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until for the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. You need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences.

Thursday, March 18

07:47 PM Moon entered Gemini, where it remains until Sunday morning when it enters the next sign, Cancer.

Moon in the air sign Gemini boosts Gemini, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius. Moon in Gemini also helps any planets and points you have in Gemini and should bring together more things for Gemini on a short-term basis.

Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Gemini also supports anyone’s involvement with Gemini-related activities such as sales, teaching, writing, and intellectual pursuits; communicating and exchanging information by sending emails, writing letters, and calling friends; any social event which connects you with new acquaintances; exploring curiosity by reading a book, watching documentaries, and gathering information on different topics; and short trips for fun, pleasure, and education.

Friday, March 19

02:25 PM + - (Moon in Gemini 00 Mars in Gemini) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect can magnify feelings, passions, motivations and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.

11:30 PM + (Moon in Gemini 00 Node in Gemini) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.

Saturday, March 20

05:37 AM + (Sun enters Aries) the exact time for the Vernal Equinox highlighted at the top of this newsletter.

02:13 PM + (Moon in Gemini 120 Jupiter in Aquarius) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

02:20 PM - (Moon in Gemini 90 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

07:15 PM - (Moon in Gemini 45 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.

11:15 PM - (Moon in Gemini 135 Saturn in Aquarius) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect can be challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.

Sunday, March 21

01:16 AM - (Moon in Gemini 150 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

08:04 AM + (Moon in Gemini 90 Venus in Pisces) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

08:04 AM Moon in Gemini Void until 08:17 AM when it enters the next sign, Cancer.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.

We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
