Solar Eclipse

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report

Moon in Sagittarius

Moon in the fire sign Sagittarius from Saturday evening until late Monday evening boosts Sagittarius, and to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Aries and Leo. Moon in Sagittarius also helps any planets and points you have in Sagittarius and should bring together more things for Sagittarius on a short-term basis.

Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Sagittarius also supports anyone’s involvement with Sagittarius-related attitudes and activities such as adventure, growth, and excitement; feeling more hopeful, optimistic, and forward-looking; sales, marketing, advertising, promotion, broadcasting, and media work; sports, athletics, and outdoor activities; books, publishing, knowledge, scholarship, lecturing, and higher education; exploring religious, ethical, and philosophical interests; and foreign languages, traveling abroad, and exploring other cultures.

Solar Eclipse

The only total solar eclipse of 2020 is tomorrow, Monday, when the Moon blocks the Sun, creating temporary darkness along its path across South America's southern end. People in some Chile and Argentina regions will be able to witness the full eclipse in person if the weather is clear.

Solar eclipses can be thought of as New Moons on steroids because the Sun and Moon align by longitude and latitude. Eclipses are traditionally known for being ominous, portending disasters and catastrophes when parts of the world plunge into darkness. Furthermore, the effects of eclipses are for months before and after their exact date.

With this eclipse in Sagittarius, the sign related to exaggeration, including hopes and fears, and square Neptune, the planet related to confusion and uncertainty, it is and has been more challenging to be objective and realistic about matters such as the pandemic and our recent presidential election.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Scorpio from November 21 until December 15, brings blessings and benefits to Scorpio, and to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Scorpio. Check your planets’ exact positions in Scorpio to know when Venus will bring benefits to your horoscope during the next four weeks.

Mars in Aries from June 27 until January 07, 2021, boosts Aries, and to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also be challenging Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn. Contact me or check the planets or points you have in these signs to know when you will likely experience stress and perhaps make mistakes due to the increased demands, anxiety, and possible conflicts related to these planets and points.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 29 degrees Capricorn brings opportunities for anyone born around the twentieth of any month, especially January, April, May, June, July, August, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 29 degrees.

Saturn at 29.5 degrees Capricorn is likely bringing steady accomplishments for a Capricorn born around January 20 as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone born around the twentieth of January, April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 29 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Uranus retrograde at 07 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 28 and anyone with planets and points around 08 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the twenty-eighth of January, April, July, September, October, and November, as well as for anyone with planets and points around 07 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus is also creating possible breakthroughs, advances, and opportunities for a Virgo born around August 28 and a Capricorn born around December 28.

Neptune at 18 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born around the ninth of March, June, August, September, October, and December and anyone with planets and points around 18 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 09 and a Scorpio born around November 09.

Pluto at 23.5 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 14 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fourteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 24 degrees of the above signs.

Lunar Aspects with Moon in Sagittarius

With Moon in Sagittarius, there are more minus than plus lunar aspects. Recall that the lunar (Moon) aspects listed below are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time listed. They can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.

Saturday, December 12

09:39 PM Moon entered Sagittarius, where it remains until late Monday evening when it enters the next sign, Capricorn.

Sunday, December 13

06:17 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 135 Mars in Aries) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect can magnify feelings, passions, motivations, and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.

09:13 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 150 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.

11:36 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 45 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

08:02 PM + (Moon in Sagittarius 45 Jupiter in Capricorn) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

09:27 PM - (Moon in Sagittarius 45 Saturn in Capricorn) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.

Monday, December 14

03:14 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 90 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

05:41 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 00 Mercury in Sagittarius) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, communication, and writing because this aspect creates a more active mind. Being in Sagittarius, this aspect is particularly favorable for anything related to advertising, marketing, and promotion.

06:02 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 180 Node in Gemini) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.

07:13 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 120 Mars in Aries) opportunities to trust your instincts and be bolder and more direct with how you feel and express yourself.

09:36 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 135 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.

11:16 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 00 Sun in Sagittarius) the exact time for the New Moon Solar Eclipse highlighted at the top of this newsletter.

11:16 AM Moon in Sagittarius Void until 10:34 PM when it enters the next sign, Capricorn.

This Void is almost twelve hours, so take note because during Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

Keep in mind that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing the start of a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.

The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus trying to describe your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.

To know what’s going on in your horoscope, and to make better decisions at better times, contact me. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
