Security Versus Risk

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Monday, May 16, 2022

Moon in the fire sign Sagittarius from Monday morning until Wednesday morning boosts Sagittarius and, to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Aries and Leo. Moon in Sagittarius also helps any planets and points you have in Sagittarius and should bring together more things for Sagittarius on a short-term basis.

Moon in Sagittarius supports anyone’s involvement with Sagittarius-related attitudes and activities such as adventure, growth, and excitement; feeling more hopeful, optimistic, and forward-looking; sales, marketing, advertising, promotion, broadcasting, and media work; sports, athletics, and outdoor activities; books, publishing, knowledge, scholarship, lecturing, and higher education; exploring religious, ethical, and philosophical interests; and foreign languages, traveling abroad, and exploring other cultures.

Security Versus Risk

With Sun late in the fixed earth-sign Taurus and Moon in the mutable fire-sign Sagittarius, we have a Sun-Moon combination involving distinctly different needs and motivations which are significant if you are in a Taurus-Sagittarius relationship, both signs are emphasized in your horoscope, and to a lesser degree, your second and ninth houses are active.

Taurus is more about what can be felt and touched right before our eyes. Its pragmatism does not allow for grand plans and schemes like Sagittarius, which seeks what is far off and into the future. Guided by its instincts and inspirations, Sagittarius values freedom and independence. It does not like to be tied down.

Taurus appreciates the enthusiasm and energy of Sagittarius but may also feel they are too unreliable, and their ideas and ideals are too far-fetched or impractical. On the other hand, Sagittarius is attracted to the steadiness and practicality of Taurus but may feel they lack the imagination, vision, and spirit of open exploration which Sagittarius thrives on.

On the plus side, the down-to-earth practicality of Taurus can temper and stabilize the exuberance and grand plans of Sagittarius. And the need for Sagittarius to grow and explore far and wide can motivate Taurus to move beyond its set habits and lifestyle to explore new ideas and places.

Jupiter in Aries

Jupiter’s entrance into Aries on Tuesday, May 10, was a major astrological event. As highlighted in recent newsletters, as Jupiter travels around the zodiac every twelve years, spending approximately a year in each of the twelve signs, it brings good things to whatever points and angles Jupiter aspects in your horoscope. This means that Jupiter will bring opportunities for everyone in the coming year, not just Aries.

For these reasons, I am offering you a special Jupiter in Aries video report based on your date, time, and place of birth. Once you receive your video, you can play it on your computer as often as you want. The video will cover all the relevant charts and graphs you need and pinpoint your propitious Jupiter times, which everyone will have.

Taking advantage of just one favorable time frame can make the cost of this service worthwhile for you. To purchase your special video, click here to pay $66. Also, you can call me with your credit card information or mail a check to the address at the end of this newsletter.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are many factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Aries from May 02 until May 28, brings blessings and benefits to Aries and, to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Aries.

Mars in Pisces from April 15 until May 24 energizes Pisces and helps to a lesser degree the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio. However, with Mars related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars will also challenge Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Sagittarius during this period. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, direct at 01 degrees Aries, brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 01 degrees of any sign, especially Aries and the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius, and the other cardinal signs, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

Saturn direct at 25 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 25 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius, as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 25 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Uranus direct at 15.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 16 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 16 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.

Neptune direct at 25 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 25 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 25 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Pluto retrograde at 28.5 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 28 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 28 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Lunar Aspects

The most important Moon in Sagittarius aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.

Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, so you need to subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. The + and - lunar aspects can exhibit positive and negative influences.

Monday, May 16

07:50 AM Moon entered Sagittarius, where it remains until Wednesday morning when it enters the next sign, Capricorn.

09:33 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 120 Jupiter in Aries) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

01:18 PM + (Moon in Sagittarius 180 Mercury in Gemini) opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, communication, and writing.

Tuesday, May 17

08:45 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 150 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.

11:30 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 120 Venus in Aries) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

08:01 PM + (Moon in Sagittarius 150 Node in Taurus) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.

11:51 PM - (Moon in Sagittarius 90 Mars in Pisces) opportunities for bolder and more direct actions. However, this aspect magnifies feelings and passions and, as a result, can bring impatience, rashness, impulsiveness, anger, and even forceful actions.

11:59 PM - (Moon in Sagittarius 90 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

Wednesday, May 18

03:48 AM (Moon in Sagittarius 150 Sun in Taurus) the exact time for the challenging aspect between Sun and Moon highlighted at the top of this newsletter.

08:01 AM Moon enters the next sign, Capricorn.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy for you to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise of right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you short-term unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.

Contact me to know what’s going on in your horoscope and to make better decisions at better times. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
