New Moon & Pluto Shift
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Monday, January 31, 2022
Moon in the air sign Aquarius from Monday morning until Wednesday morning boosts Aquarius, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Gemini and Libra. Moon in Aquarius also helps any planets and points you have in Aquarius and should bring together more things for Aquarius on a short-term basis.
Moon in Aquarius supports anyone’s involvement with Aquarius-related attitudes and activities such as analyzing, observing, questioning, experimenting, and investigating; exploring what is new, novel, unusual, progressive, and nonconforming; science, technology, engineering, computers, electronics, inventions, and aviation; and working with clubs, organizations, special interest groups, and philanthropic and charitable organizations.
Tuesday’s New Moon at 12:46 AM EST involves the Sun and Moon aligned at 12 degrees Aquarius, which places favorable emphasis on the house in your horoscope ruled by Aquarius and any planets and points you have around 12 degrees of the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius).
Pluto has a 250-year cycle around the zodiac and has been in Capricorn since 2008, where it remains until early next spring when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.
About every year and a half, Pluto enters a part of the zodiac it has not been in for 250 years. This occurred last week when Pluto was at 26 Capricorn 48, which means that for about the two years Pluto will bring positive influences for anyone born at 27 28 29 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn and potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 27 28 29 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Capricorn for four months, from November 05 until March 06, brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and, to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn.
Mars in Capricorn from January 24 until March 06 energizes Capricorn, and to a lesser degree, helps the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo. However, related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars will also challenge Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn during this period. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, direct and approaching 07 degrees Pisces, brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 07 degrees of any sign, especially Pisces.
Saturn direct at 15.5 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 16 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 16 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus direct at 11 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 11 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 11 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.
Neptune direct at 21.5 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 22 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 22 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Pluto direct at 27 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 27 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 27 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
The most important Moon in Aquarius aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.
Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, so you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.
Monday, January 31
04:42 AM Moon enters Aquarius, where it remains until Wednesday morning when it enters the next sign, Pisces.
10:25 PM - (Moon in Aquarius 90 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
Tuesday, February 01
12:46 AM + (Moon in Aquarius 00 Sun in Aquarius) the time of the New Moon highlighted at the top of this newsletter.
06:01 AM + - (Moon in Aquarius 00 Saturn in Aquarius) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect can also be challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
11:55 PM + (Moon in Aquarius 45 Venus in Capricorn) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
Wednesday, February 02
03:30 AM + (Moon in Aquarius 90 Node in Taurus) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.
03:30 AM Moon in Aquarius Void until 05:59 AM when it enters the next sign, Pisces.
This Void is more than two hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy for you to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
