Mars-Uranus & Your Horoscope

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report

Highlighted in my last newsletter, Inauguration Week Warning, and summarized below, Mars conjunct Uranus remains the most critical factor in the sky. This volatile planetary aspect occurs only once every two and a half years and becomes exact on Wednesday within hours of the inauguration. In effect this past week, this significant aspect, involving an alignment of two stress-producing planets, can make everyone and everyone more edgy and uncertain.

Mars-Uranus aspects typically bring more excitement, restlessness, impulsiveness, aggravations, and ego battles than usual. The status quo tends to be upset with surprises, unexpected events, turbulent changes, and highly charged situations. It can be like lightning bolts coming out of nowhere.

Your Horoscope

For most people, nothing special will happen, but those born around the twenty-eighth of January, April, July, September, October, and November should be more vigilant and anyone with their Moon, planets, and points at seven degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.

A challenging Mars–Uranus aspect to the position of one’s Saturn can be particularly significant. Mars-Saturn-Uranus combinations can create great energy and courage, but also stress, upsets, and even accidents, injuries, and the deprivation of freedom.

After tedious research, I created a list of birth dates from 1940 to 2000 for those whose Saturn will be impacted by Mars-Uranus this week. Note that this list applies to anyone born about a week before and after these dates.

1940: May 16, 1941: January 08, 1946: October 05, 1947: January 06 and June 22, 1951: October 11, 1952: June 10, 1953: December 25, 1954: April 14 and September 21, 1956: December 11 and August 02, 1962: March 05, August 14 and December 01, 1969: July 04 and October 02, 1970: March 22, 1976: August 02, 1980: November 01, 1981: April 19 and August 16, 1983: October 28, 1995: January 20, 1986: May 20 and October 18, 1991: May 17, 1992: January 11, and 1999: April 29.

If I were updating the horoscope for a client born around these dates, I would explain in detail how this aspect may impact their life, and more importantly, how they can best handle and make the most of this aspect.

Moon in Aries

Moon in the fire sign Aries from early Monday morning until Wednesday afternoon boosts Aries, and to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius. Moon in Aries also helps any planets and points you have in Aries and should bring together more things for Aries on a short-term basis.

Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Aries also supports anyone’s involvement with Aries-related activities and attitudes such as being more spontaneous, direct, assertive, forceful, courageous, and competitive; exploring, innovating, and crusading; and physical efforts such as manual labor, exercising, and working out.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Capricorn from January 08 until February 01, brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo and the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn. Check your planets’ exact positions in Capricorn to know when Venus will bring benefits to your horoscope during the next four weeks.

Mars in Taurus from January 06 until March 03 boosts Taurus, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also be challenging Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 07 degrees Aquarius brings opportunities for anyone born around the twenty-eight of any month, especially January, April, May, June, July, August, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 07 degrees.

Saturn at 04 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for an Aquarius born around January 25 as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone born around the twenty-fifth of January, April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 04 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Uranus retrograde at 07 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 28 and anyone with planets and points around 08 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the twenty-eighth of January, April, July, September, October, and November, as well as for anyone with planets and points around 07 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus is also creating possible breakthroughs, advances, and opportunities for a Virgo born around August 28 and a Capricorn born around December 28.

Neptune at 19 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born around the tenth of March, June, August, September, October, and December and anyone with planets and points around 19 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 10 and a Scorpio born around November 10.

Pluto at 24.75 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 16 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fourteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 25 degrees of the above signs.

Lunar Aspects with Moon in Aries

With Moon in Aries, there are only three lunar aspects, which is highly unusual.

Monday, January 18

02:07 AM Moon entered Aries, where it remains until early Wednesday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Taurus.

03:44 PM + (Moon in Aries 60 Jupiter in Aquarius) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

Tuesday, January 19

04:42 AM + (Moon in Aries 90 Venus in Capricorn) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

Wednesday, January 20

03:28 AM - (Moon in Aries 90 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

03:28 AM Moon in Aries Void until 01:56 PM when it enters the next sign, Taurus.

This Void is more than ten hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

Remember that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing the start of a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed above are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time listed. The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences. These lunar aspects can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.

The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
