Moon in the earth sign Taurus from Thursday afternoon until Saturday afternoon EDT boosts Taurus and, to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. In addition, Moon in Taurus helps any planets and points you have in Taurus and should bring together more things for Taurus on a short-term basis.
Moon in Taurus also supports anyone’s involvement with Taurus-related activities such as gardening, landscaping, agriculture, and geology; connecting with nature by walking in a park or going to the countryside; dealing with financial matters such as organizing records and collecting debts; buying and selling things of value; and artistic endeavors such as singing, painting, sculpture, and designing.
Overall
Aries and Taurus are more active than the other signs, with four points in Aries (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Chiron) and four points in Taurus (Moon, Node, Venus, and Uranus), which puts more emphasis on the houses in your horoscope ruled by Aries and Taurus. Also, right timing is complicated by the Mars-Pluto aspect described below, and you may be facing difficulties if, for example, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are challenging your horoscope.
Mars Cancer
After seven months of being in Gemini because of a long retrograde period, Mars enters Cancer on Saturday morning EDT which will now energize Cancer, and help, to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Scorpio Pisces, until May 20, when it enters the next sign, Leo.
On the other hand, with Mars related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars in Cancer will challenge the planets and points you have in Aries, Cancer, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius until May 20.
For example, if your Sun is in one of the above signs, you will likely experience some discord and irritations for a few days during the next seven weeks when Mars aspects the position of your Sun. If Mars aspects your Moon, expect irritations and aggravations, especially involving females. If aspecting your Venus, expect increased passions and possible relationship discord. If aspecting your Mars, expect aggravations and differences, especially involving men. If aspecting your Saturn, expect extra work, demands, stress, and frustrations. If aspecting your Uranus, be on alert for impulsiveness, accidents, and injuries.
Mars Pluto
Mars in Cancer 150 Pluto in Aquarius is more significant than any other astrological factor now active. In effect this past week and culminating this weekend, this challenging aspect increases the possibilities for unrest, turmoil, violence, assaults, injuries, cruelty, murders, explosions, extreme weather, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.
Challenging Mars-Pluto aspects are also related to fanaticism and self-righteousness with a need to “be right,” leaving little room for compromise or contrary thinking. They intensify controversies and differences regarding any issue simmering around our country and the world.
This Mars-Pluto aspect is particularly relevant for anyone born or with planets around 00 degrees Aries, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius.
On the plus side, Mars-Pluto aspects are favorable for hard work, focused efforts, determination, persistence, and endurance. It represents the fighter and soldier and can generate extraordinary energy, stamina, and determination to help you be more productive and achieving. There are always positive and constructive ways to work with and manifest challenging planetary energies.

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy to sort everything out with many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to time your decisions and activities better.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters will likely come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
