Inauguration Week Alert
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report
Mars conjunct Uranus, the most volatile of all the planetary aspects occurring only once every two and a half years, becomes exact next Wednesday within hours of the inauguration. Now in effect, this aspect can make everyone and everyone more edgy and uncertain because it involves an alignment of two stress-producing planets.
Mars-Uranus aspects typically bring more excitement, restlessness, impulsiveness, aggravations, and ego battles than usual. The status quo tends to be upset with surprises, unexpected events, turbulent changes, and highly charged situations. It can be like lightning bolts coming out of nowhere.
Mars-Uranus aspects also increase the possibilities for differences, disruptions, outbursts, rage, strife, assaults, attacks, accidents, injuries, violence, explosions, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, extreme weather, electrical storms and blackouts, and battles, suicide bombings, and terrorist acts.
People with a challenging Mars-Uranus aspect in their horoscope are typically bold, courageous, and freedom-loving, and prone to stubbornness, intolerance, tensions, brutal frankness, rash acts, and accidents and injuries.
On the plus side, this intense aspect increases the possibilities for courage, determination, virility, and leadership. It represents the fighter and soldier and can generate extra energy and stamina to help you be more productive and achieving.
For most people (depending on their horoscope and personal cycles), nothing special will happen, but those with their Sun, Moon, planets, and points at seven degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should be more vigilant.
Moon in Pisces
Moon in the water sign Pisces from late Friday afternoon until early Monday morning boosts Pisces, and to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio. Moon in Pisces also helps any planets and points you have in Pisces and should bring together more things for Pisces on a short-term basis.
Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Pisces also supports anyone’s involvement with Pisces-related activities such as music, dancing, painting, movies, theater, film, drama, poetry, fiction, and photography; working with dreams and imagination and subconscious; and anything spiritually oriented such as prayer, yoga, and meditation.

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Capricorn from January 08 until February 01, brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo and the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn. Check your planets’ exact positions in Capricorn to know when Venus will bring benefits to your horoscope during the next four weeks.
Mars in Taurus from January 06 until March 03 boosts Taurus, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also be challenging Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 06.5 degrees Aquarius brings opportunities for anyone born around the twenty-seventh of any month, especially January, April, May, June, July, August, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 07 degrees.
Saturn at 03.5 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for an Aquarius born around January 24 as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone born around the twenty-four of January, April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 04 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus retrograde at 07 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 28 and anyone with planets and points around 08 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the twenty-eighth of January, April, July, September, October, and November, as well as for anyone with planets and points around 07 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus is also creating possible breakthroughs, advances, and opportunities for a Virgo born around August 28 and a Capricorn born around December 28.
Neptune at 19 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born around the tenth of March, June, August, September, October, and December and anyone with planets and points around 19 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 10 and a Scorpio born around November 10.
Pluto at 24.5 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 15 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fourteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 25 degrees of the above signs.
Lunar Aspects with Moon in Pisces
Sunday is by far the busiest day with a high number of lunar aspects.
Friday, January 15
05:17 PM Moon entered Pisces, where it remains until early Monday morning when it enters the next sign, Aries.
Saturday, January 16
11:17 AM - (Moon in Pisces 45 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.
Sunday, January 17
03:59 AM - (Moon in Pisces 45 Saturn in Aquarius) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
04:34 AM + - (Moon in Pisces 00 Neptune in Pisces) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
05:20 AM + (Moon in Pisces 90 Node in Gemini) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.
06:53 AM - (Moon in Pisces 45 Mars in Aries) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect can magnify feelings and passions and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.
09:57 AM + (Moon in Pisces 45 Jupiter in Aquarius) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
10:06 AM - (Moon in Pisces 45 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
10:44 PM + (Moon in Pisces 60 Sun in Capricorn) a harmonious aspect between Moon in the water sign Pisces and Sun in the earth sign Capricorn.
10:44 PM Moon in Pisces Void until 02:07 AM Monday when it enters the next sign, Aries.
This Void is more than three hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Remember that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing the start of a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed above are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time listed. The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences. These lunar aspects can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
