Gemini Capricorn
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Wednesday, January 12, 2022
Moon in Gemini from late Wednesday evening until late Saturday morning boosts Gemini, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius. Moon in Gemini also helps any planets and points you have in Gemini and should help bring more things together for Gemini on a short-term basis.
Moon in Gemini supports anyone’s involvement with Gemini-related activities such as sales, teaching, writing, and intellectual pursuits; communicating and exchanging information by sending emails, writing letters, and calling friends; any social event which connects you with new acquaintances; exploring curiosity by reading a book, watching documentaries, and gathering information on different topics; and short trips for fun, pleasure, and education.
Gemini Capricorn
With Moon in Gemini and Sun more than two-thirds of the way through Capricorn, we have a Sun-Moon combination that requires adjustments. If these two signs are active in your horoscope or relationships, you need to understand the innate differences between the earth sign Capricorn and the air sign Gemini. Earth and air do not mix well. It gets a bit dry and dusty--the winds of the air blow against the earth’s soil.
Capricorn is the introvert: more protective, guarded, and less easy to get to know. Gemini is the extrovert: more friendly, sociable, and easier to get to know. Capricorn is more intense, serious, and private. Gemini is more casual, easy-going, and lighthearted.
Capricorn can be too ponderous. Gemini can be too frivolous. Capricorn is cautious, solemn, and business like. Gemini is more playful, chatty, and adventuresome. Capricorn is a straight line aimed toward a specific goal. Gemini is a wiggly line jumping around as it adjusts to its varied interests.
Capricorn is tangible results. Gemini is exploratory breadth. Capricorn is selective and determined, which enables them to complete more projects. Gemini checks out whatever comes its way in a curious manner.
Capricorn rules aging and the elderly. Gemini rules teenagers and early education. Capricorn is what is old and established. Gemini is what is new and fresh.
Capricorn is a cold, dry winter day. Gemini is a nice, breezy spring day. Capricorn rules rocks and lead (heavier and more downward). Gemini rules air and butterflies (lighter and more amorphous).
Despite all these differences, this is a smart and capable combination with many intellectual talents and professional skills. In addition, Capricorn’s organizational and business skills can work well with Gemini’s educational and communication skills to produce successful results.
And besides, every sign can help every other sign in many ways. Serious and determined Capricorn can benefit from Gemini’s lightness, flexibility, and spontaneity; and light and flexible Gemini can benefit from Capricorn’s focus, determination, and pragmatism.
Mercury Retrograde
As highlighted in my last newsletter, Here Comes Mercury Retrograde, the big news is Mercury turning retrograde on Friday, which means you will likely experience some important shifts in your thinking, attitudes, and plans during the coming week.
It is worth repeating that despite many people believing that everything will go wrong when Mercury is retrograde, many successful organizations, companies, corporations, and individuals have Mercury retrograde in their horoscopes.
Furthermore, too many people blame Mercury retrograde for their current problems and mishaps when, in fact, more significant factors are contributing to their difficulties, such as Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto making challenging aspects to important planets and points in their horoscope.

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Capricorn for four months, from November 05 until March 06, brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and, to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn.
Mars in Sagittarius from December 13 until January 24 energizes Sagittarius, and to a lesser degree, helps the other fire signs, Aries and Leo. However, related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars will also challenge Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, direct at 03 degrees Pisces, brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 03 degrees of any sign, especially Pisces.
Saturn direct at 13 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 13 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 13 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus retrograde at 11 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 11 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 11 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.
Neptune direct at 21 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 21 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 21 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Pluto direct at 26 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 26 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 26 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Lunar Aspects
The most important Moon in Gemini aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.
Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, so you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.
Wednesday, January 12
10:08 PM Moon entered Gemini, where it remains until late Saturday morning when it enters the next sign, Cancer.
10:18 PM + (Moon in Gemini 00 Node in Gemini) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.
Thursday, January 13
04:24 AM + (Moon in Gemini 90 Jupiter in Pisces) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. In addition, this lunar aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
07:09 PM + (Moon in Gemini 120 Mercury in Aquarius) opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, communication, and writing.
Friday, January 14
01:25 AM + (Moon in Gemini 120 Saturn in Aquarius) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities.
05:45 AM + (Moon in Gemini 150 Venus in Capricorn) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
04:50 PM - (Moon in Gemini 90 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
09:21 PM - (Moon in Gemini 180 Mars in Sagittarius) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect magnifies feelings, passions, motivations and brings upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.
Saturday, January 15
01:10 AM - (Moon in Gemini 150 Sun in Capricorn) the time of the aspect related to the Gemini-Capricorn combination highlighted at the top of this newsletter.
03:53 AM (Moon in Gemini 150 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.
08:13 AM Moon in Gemini Void until 11:10 AM when it enters the next sign, Cancer.
This Void is almost three hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy for you to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.

We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
