Full Moon & Mars Shift

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Thursday, April 14, 2022

Moon in the air sign Libra from late Thursday afternoon until Saturday evening boosts Libra, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Gemini and Aquarius. Moon in Libra also helps any planets and points you have in Libra and should bring together more things for Libra on a short-term basis.

Moon in Libra supports anyone’s involvement with Libra-related activities such as fostering relationships and diplomacy by being more interactive and accommodating; being more aware of their friends, partners, and clients; and expressing oneself artistically and creatively, including making everything around you more beautiful and harmonious.

Full Moon

Full Moons tend to intensify matters and create extremes. Sun nears the end of Aries. Today Moon entered Libra, and Saturday at 02:55 PM EDT, there is a Full Moon when Moon in Libra opposes Sun in Aries at 27 degrees.

This Full Moon is relevant for the houses in your horoscope ruled by Aries and Libra and is more significant for anyone born around the last days of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn and for anyone with points or planets around 27 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

With any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, or birth near a Full Moon, there is a need to understand and find a middle ground between the different needs of the two signs involved because when planets or points are in opposition in a horoscope, there is a “push and pull” between two primary needs in your life. Saturday’s Full Moon is a good example.

Aries in opposition to Libra symbolizes the battle between the need to do your thing and be true to yourself (Aries) versus the need to compromise and be more conscious of the needs of others (Libra).

Aries rules the head, which symbolizes the need to rush forward like a ram butting into whatever comes in its way. Libra rules the kidneys and lower back, symbolizing the need to bend over backward to accommodate others. Aries sees life more from its own needs and perspective. Libra sees life more from the perspective of others and regarding relationships. Each approach has its advantages and disadvantages.

Mars Shift

Mars changes signs about every six weeks, except when it is retrograde, and this evening Mars enters Pisces at 11:05 PM EDT. Mars, the energy and initiative planet, will now energize Pisces and help to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, until May 24 when it enters the next sign, Aries.

On the other hand, with Mars related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars in Pisces will challenge Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Sagittarius until May 24.

For example, if your Sun is in one of the above signs, you will likely experience some discord and challenges, more likely with males, for a few days during the next six weeks when Mars aspects the position of your Sun. If Mars aspects your Moon, expect irritations and aggravations, more likely with females. If aspecting your Venus, expect increased passions and possible relationship discord. If aspecting your Mars, expect aggravations and differences, more likely involving males. If aspecting your Saturn, expect extra work, demands, stress, and frustrations. And if aspecting your Uranus, be on alert for impulsiveness, accidents, and injuries.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are many factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Pisces from April 05 until May 02, brings blessings and benefits to Pisces, and to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Pisces.

Mars in Pisces from April 15 until May 24 energizes Pisces and helps to a lesser degree the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio. However, with Mars related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars will also challenge Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Sagittarius during this period. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, direct and approaching 25 degrees Pisces, brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 25 degrees of any sign, especially Pisces and the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and the other mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius.

Saturn direct at 23 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 23 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius, as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 23 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Uranus direct at 13.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 14 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 14 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.

Neptune direct at 24 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 24 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 24 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Pluto direct at 28.5 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 29 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 29 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Lunar Aspects

The most important Moon in Libra aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.

Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, so you need to subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. The + and - lunar aspects can exhibit positive and negative influences.

Thursday, April 14

04:45 PM Moon entered Libra, where it remains until Saturday evening when it enters the next sign, Scorpio.

Friday, April 15

11:48 AM + (Moon in Libra 150 Venus in Pisces) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

03:41 PM + (Moon in Libra 180 Chiron in Aries) opportunities for healing and family matters.

04:36 PM - (Moon in Libra 150 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.

Saturday, April 16

07:54 AM + (Moon in Libra 150 Node in Taurus) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.

09:06 AM + (Moon in Libra 120 Saturn in Aquarius) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities.

10:25 AM - (Moon in Libra 150 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

11:44 AM + (Moon in Libra 150 Jupiter in Pisces) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

02:55 PM - (Moon in Libra 180 Sun in Aries) the time of the Aries-Libra New Moon highlighted at the top of this newsletter.

05:56 PM - (Moon in Libra 90 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

05:56 PM Moon in Libra Void until 08:22 PM when it enters the next sign, Scorpio.

This Void is more than two hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy for you to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to better time your decisions and activities.

The basic premise of right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
