Edgy & Erratic
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Wednesday, February 23, 2022
Moon in the fire sign Sagittarius from Wednesday morning until late Friday morning boosts Sagittarius, and to a lesser degree, the other fire signs, Aries and Leo. Moon in Sagittarius also helps any planets and points you have in Sagittarius and should bring together more things for Sagittarius on a short-term basis.
Moon in Sagittarius supports anyone’s involvement with Sagittarius-related attitudes and activities such as adventure, growth, and excitement; feeling more hopeful, optimistic, and forward-looking; sales, marketing, advertising, promotion, broadcasting, and media work; sports, athletics, and outdoor activities; books, publishing, knowledge, scholarship, lecturing, and higher education; exploring religious, ethical, and philosophical interests; and foreign languages, traveling abroad, and exploring other cultures.
Edgy & Erratic
The main aspect in the sky now is Mercury in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus. In effect the past week and active until this weekend, Mercury square Uranus brings an atmosphere full of sudden shifts and changes, almost like when Mercury is retrograde because Mercury rules thinking and planning, and challenging Uranus aspects bring sudden shifts and changes.
People with this aspect can be creative, original, brilliant, and inventive, but at times their minds dance from one subject to the next that they cannot thoroughly take in and digest any of them. As a result, they get bored and restless and often intellectually rebel against too much tedium. They can be abrupt and impatient with people who plan and plod along because they want everything to move ahead quickly and spontaneously.
This aspect is certainly relevant for the crises at the Russia-Ukraine border. Mercury also rules communication and negotiations. Challenging aspects to Uranus bring uncertainty and sudden changes, making diplomacy difficult.
With Mercury and Uranus ruling the nervous system, everyone feels more anxious and restless because no one knows what will happen. Furthermore, Mercury and Uranus rule data, computers, and technology, so anything could happen with the internet and cyber wars, for example.
Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Capricorn for four months, from November 05 until March 06, brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and, to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn.
Mars in Capricorn from January 24 until March 06 energizes Capricorn, and to a lesser degree, helps the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo. However, related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, Mars will also challenge Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn during this period. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, direct and approaching 13 degrees Pisces, brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 13 degrees of any sign, especially Pisces and the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and the other mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius.
Saturn direct at 18 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 18 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 18 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus direct at 11.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 12 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 12 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.
Neptune direct at 22 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 22 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 22 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Pluto direct at 27.5 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 28 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 28 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
The most important Moon in Sagittarius aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.
Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, so you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.
Wednesday, February 23
08:28 AM Moon entered Sagittarius, where it remains until late Friday morning when it enters the next sign, Capricorn.
Thursday, February 24
03:58 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 150 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
06:19 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 90 Jupiter in Pisces) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
10:24 PM - (Moon in Sagittarius 90 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
Friday, February 25
04:59 AM + (Moon in Sagittarius 150 Node in Taurus) opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with large and small groups.
06:13 AM Moon in Sagittarius Void until 11:27 AM when it enters the next sign, Capricorn.
This Void is more than five hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it may not be easy for you to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, applying the information in these newsletters with common sense allows you to better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
Moon enters each zodiac sign about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
