Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report
Mercury remains in retrograde, and there is a strong Capricorn-Aquarius emphasis until Tuesday evening. As highlighted in recent newsletters, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn are now in Aquarius. This emphasis on Aquarius brings blessings and benefits to Aquarius and the other air signs, Gemini and Libra, as well as the house in your horoscope ruled by Aquarius. Today, Moon entered Capricorn to join Pluto, which has been in Capricorn since 2008.
People with a Capricorn-Aquarius emphasis are more logical and objective than other sign combinations, making for a good analyst, researcher, and scientist. But both signs have a tenancy to be out of touch with their feelings and emotions, and both signs are cool by nature, which may partially explain the extremely cold weather we are now experiencing.
Capricorn can repress emotions and be afraid of being vulnerable or dependent. Aquarius operates strongly on the intellectual side and can also be unaware of emotional needs. Their opposite signs, Leo and Cancer, are more comfortable with the world of feelings and emotions.
Furthermore, the ingrained attitudes and perspectives of Capricorn and Capricorn are at odds.
Capricorn is the traditionalist who believes more in the system and cherishes stability and consistency. It is more cautious about venturing into unknown territory or changing the standard, tried-and-true ways of doing things.
On the other hand, Aquarius can be the maverick who likes to overturn and shake things up. It has an independent nature that resists being dictated to by society, conventions, customs, and authorities. The urge to break from the past and embrace what’s new and different is a part of their makeup.
Aquarius represents contemporary and progressive ideas, interests, and inclinations, many of which can at times seem ridiculous, ungrounded, or impractical to the Capricorn, who relies more on carefully thought-out plans and pragmatic, down-to-earth approaches.
But in the end, Capricorn-Aquarius is an intelligent, ambitious, and career-oriented combination, and if handled wisely, the differences between them can be complementary. Many clients with this emphasis have successful careers that combine business and management skills (Capricorn) with science, innovations, and technology (Aquarius).

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Aquarius from February 01 until February 25, brings blessings and benefits to Aquarius, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Gemini and Libra, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Aquarius. Check your planets’ exact positions in Aquarius to know when Venus will bring benefits to your horoscope during the next three weeks.
Mars in Taurus from January 06 until March 03 boosts Taurus, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also be challenging Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 12 degrees Aquarius brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 12 degrees.
Saturn at 06 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 06 degrees Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 06 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus at 07 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points at 07 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus is also creating possible breakthroughs, advances, and opportunities for those with planets and points at 07 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.
Neptune at 19.5 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 19 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 19 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Sagittarius.
Pluto at 25.5 degrees Capricorn is a positive influence for anyone born at 26 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. It is a potentially challenging and transformative period for those with planets and points at 26 degrees Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra.
The aspects highlighted at the top of these newsletters are typically in effect for days and even weeks. The lunar (Moon) aspects listed below are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time listed. The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences. These lunar aspects can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.
Sunday, February 07
03:51 PM Moon entered Capricorn where it remains until Tuesday evening when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.
Moon in the earth sign Capricorn boosts Capricorn, and to a lesser degree, the other earth signs, Taurus and Virgo. Moon in Capricorn also helps any planets and points you have in Capricorn and should bring together more things for Capricorn on a short-term basis.
Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Capricorn also supports anyone’s involvement with Capricorn-related attitudes and activities such as defining and working toward longer-range goals; being more organized, disciplined, resourceful, economical, practical, and task-oriented; connecting with people in positions of power and authority, and improving your professional profile and impressions.
Monday, February 08
02:39 AM + (Moon in Capricorn 90 Chiron in Aries) opportunities for healing relationships and families.
03:59 AM + (Moon in Capricorn 120 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for instincts, intuition, and forward-looking aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome, especially anything involving business and professional matters because this aspect involves the earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn.
09:21 AM + (Moon in Capricorn 120 Mars in Taurus) opportunities to trust your instincts and be bolder and more direct with how you feel and express yourself, especially anything involving business and professional matters because this aspect involves the earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn.
Tuesday, February 09
12:21 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 00 Pluto in Capricorn) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for influential, productive, and psychic females. This aspect also increases the possibilities for practical and concrete business plans and deeper feelings and psychic impressions.
12:21 PM Moon in Capricorn Void until 08:20 PM when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.
This Void is eight hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Remember that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing the start of a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
