Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report, Wednesday, May 12, 2021
Moon in Gemini from this morning until Friday evening gives a boost to Gemini, and a lesser degree, to the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius. Moon in Gemini also helps any planets and points you have in Gemini and should help bring more things together for Gemini on a short-term basis.
Moon in Gemini supports anyone’s involvement with Gemini-related activities such as sales, teaching, writing, and intellectual pursuits; communicating and exchanging information by sending emails, writing letters, and calling friends; any social event which connects you with new acquaintances; exploring curiosity by reading a book, watching documentaries, and gathering information on different topics; and short trips for fun, pleasure, and education.
With the coronavirus still active, it’s worth noting that in medical astrology, people with planetary afflictions involving Gemini and its ruling planet, Mercury, are more likely to have issues with respiratory problems including asthma, bronchitis, pleurisy, pneumonia, emphysema, pleurisy, and lung diseases as well as anxiety, mental strain, restless worry, nervous disorders, and neuralgia.
The Big News
Besides the critical news covered in my last newsletter, Global Violence, the big news is that Jupiter enters Pisces tomorrow evening. Whenever one of the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) change signs, it’s a big deal astrologically because the outer planets create longer-lasting personal and societal shifts and changes.
Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, with brilliance in the sky second only to Venus, is the planet of opportunity and good fortune. In fact, it is called the Great Benefic and wherever Jupiter is in your horoscope, you will naturally experience growth, advantages, fortune, and prosperity throughout your lifetime. And as Jupiter moves around your horoscope, it typically brings good things to whatever points and angles Jupiter aspects in your horoscope.
Jupiter travels around the zodiac every twelve years, spending approximately a year in each of the twelve signs. After spending the past year in Aquarius, Jupiter will spend the next two months in Pisces until it retrogrades back into Aquarius on July 20. Jupiter will reenter Pisces late this year (December 28), where it remains until entering the next sign, Aries, on May 20, 2022.
Over the years, I have found that when Jupiter is in one’s sun sign by transit, at least one very good thing seems to happen during that year. Besides favoring Pisces, Jupiter in Pisces will give a boost to everyone's horoscope depending on the house in your horoscope ruled by Pisces as well as any planets or angles you may have in the other two water signs (Cancer and Scorpio) as well as the other three mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius).

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Gemini from May 08 until June 02 brings blessings and benefits to Gemini, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Gemini. Check your planets’ positions in Gemini to know when Venus will benefit your horoscope until June 02.
Mars in Cancer from April 23 until June 11 energizes Cancer, and to a lesser degree, helps the other water signs, Scorpio and Pisces. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also challenge Aries, Cancer, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, at 00 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 00 degrees, especially Pisces.
Saturn at 13.5 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 14 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 14 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus at 11.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points at 12 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 12 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.
Neptune approaching 23 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 23 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 23 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Pluto retrograde at 27 degrees Capricorn is a positive influence for anyone born at 27 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 27 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
The most important Moon in Gemini lunar aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.
Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until for the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. You need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.
Wednesday, May 12
08:42 AM Moon entered Gemini, where it remains until Friday evening when it enters the next sign, Cancer.
06:20 PM + (Moon in Gemini 00 Venus in Gemini) this lovely once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
Thursday, May 13
06:30 AM + (Moon in Gemini 00 Node in Gemini) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for connecting with people via networking, social interactions, and alliances with groups large and small.
12:02 PM + (Moon in Gemini 120 Saturn in Aquarius) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities.
04:23 PM + (Moon in Gemini 00 180 Mercury in Gemini) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, writing, and discussions because this aspect involves the connection between thoughts (Mercury) and feelings (Moon).
06:36 PM the exact time Jupiter enters Pisces as highlighted at the top of this newsletter.
Friday, May 14
06:50 AM - (Moon in Gemini 90 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
02:25 PM - (Moon in Gemini 45 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
02:56 PM - (Moon in Gemini 150 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.
06:24 PM - (Moon in Gemini 135 Saturn in Aquarius) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
06:24 PM Moon in Gemini Void until 09:30 PM when it enters the next sign, Cancer.
This Void is more than three hours, so take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it can be difficult to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
