A Special Jupiter Full Moon
Ed K1uska’s Astrology Timing Report, Friday, August 20, 2021
Moon in the air sign Aquarius from Friday morning until Sunday morning boosts Aquarius, and to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Gemini and Libra. Moon in Aquarius also helps any planets and points you have in Aquarius and should bring together more things for Aquarius on a short-term basis.
Moon in Aquarius supports anyone’s involvement with Aquarius-related attitudes and activities such as analyzing, observing, questioning, experimenting, and investigating; exploring what is new, novel, unusual, progressive, and nonconforming; science, technology, engineering, computers, electronics, inventions, and aviation; and working with clubs, organizations, special interest groups, and philanthropic and charitable organizations.
A Special Jupiter Full Moon
It is worth getting outside Saturday evening to see the most stunning celestial event of the year. There will be a Full Moon aligned with Jupiter, as the Sun sets in the west and Moon conjunct Jupiter rises in the east.
Full Moons are typically thought to be a negative influence. This is because they intensify matters and heighten emotions. From my experience, they are problematic when they form a difficult aspect to a challenging planet, which is not the case with this Full Moon because of the influence of Jupiter.
People with an enhanced Jupiter horoscope tend to be positive, optimistic, luckily, confident, healthy, cheerful, recognized, popular, successful, and good with people.
The particulars. Sun opposed Jupiter yesterday. Moon entered Aquarius this morning, and Sunday at 08:11 AM, there is a Full Moon at 29.5 degrees of Leo and Aquarius, which makes this special Full Moon more relevant for anyone with planets and points around 29 degrees of the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius and the houses in your horoscope ruled by Leo and Aquarius.
All this does not mean everything is now Jupiter-like for you and the world, but there is an atmosphere ripe for hope and optimism. The caution is that with Sun opposite Jupiter, one can go overboard and overextend themselves. It is always better to be moderate than to be sorry.
Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign to consider, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to your Sun’s position can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto) create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Venus, the planet related to love, money, and the arts, in Libra from August 16 until September 10 brings blessings and benefits to Libra, and, to a lesser degree, the other air signs, Gemini and Aquarius, and the house in your horoscope ruled by Libra.
Mars in Virgo from July 29 until September 14 energizes Virgo, and to a lesser degree, helps the other earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also challenge Aries, Gemini, Sagittarius, Aquarius, and Pisces. Check your planets’ positions in the above signs to know when there may be added stress, pressure, and aggravations in your life.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, optimism, opportunities, and good fortune, retrograde at 27 degrees Aquarius brings opportunities for anyone with planets and points at 27 degrees Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and especially Aquarius.
Saturn retrograde at 09 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing steady accomplishments for anyone born at 09 degrees Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius as well as pressures, tests, trials, delays, losses, and even harsh realities for anyone with points or planets at 09 degrees Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
Uranus retrograde at 14.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for anyone with planets and points around 15 degrees Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Uranus in Taurus also creates possible advances, breakthroughs, and new opportunities for those with planets and points at 15 degrees Virgo and Capricorn.
Neptune retrograde at 22.5 degrees Pisces brings opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for anyone born at 22 degrees Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces and possible deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions for anyone born at 22 degrees Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Pluto retrograde at 25 degrees Capricorn positively influences anyone born at 25 degrees Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. This position is also potentially challenging and transformative for those with planets and points at 25 degrees Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Lunar Aspects
The most important Moon in Aquarius lunar aspects are listed below. The descriptions do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan your life more wisely. It is often apparent which time frames are better than others for timing a party, trip, decision, project, business, or other events.
Lunar aspects are in effect for a few hours (versus days) before and until the times given for the Eastern Time Zone. Therefore, you need to adjust the times for where you live. For example, if you live on the West Coast, there is a three-hour difference, so you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which can exhibit positive and negative influences.
Friday, August 20
04:48 AM Moon entered Aquarius, where it remains until Sunday morning when it enters the next sign, Pisces.
02:01 PM + (Moon in Aquarius 120 Venus in Libra) opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
07:55 PM + - (Moon in Aquarius 00 Saturn in Aquarius) this once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect can also be challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
Saturday, August 21
05:12 AM - (Moon in Aquarius 150 Mars in Virgo) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect magnifies feelings, passions, motivations and brings upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.
06:11 AM - (Moon in Aquarius 90 Uranus in Taurus) opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
Sunday, August 22
03:18 AM + (Moon in Aquarius 00 Jupiter in Aquarius) this wonderful once-a-month lunar aspect brings opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. In addition, this lunar aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
08:01 AM + - (Moon in Aquarius 180 Sun in Leo) the time of the Leo-Aquarius Full Moon highlighted at the top of this newsletter.
08:01 AM Moon in Aquarius Void until 08:42 AM when it enters the next sign, Pisces.
This Void is less than an hour but take note because there tends to be a lull in the energy levels during Void periods. What you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but it can be difficult to sort everything out with so many factors presented, even for astrology students. Therefore, I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
The most critical factor with right timing is what is occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you can better time your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in each sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless significant aspects are currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe the signs’ functions and meanings versus describing your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate for you. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, dozens of factors besides one's sun sign need to be considered.
