A Saturn New Moon

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report

Moon in the water sign Cancer from Saturday morning until Monday afternoon boosts Cancer, and to a lesser degree, the other water signs, Scorpio and Pisces. Moon in Cancer also helps any planets and points you have in Cancer and should bring together more things for Cancer on a short-term basis.

Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Cancer also supports anyone’s involvement with Cancer-related activities such as helping family and friends and nurturing people along; cooking, household duties, home decorating and repairs; antiques, memories, and genealogy; and gardening, housing, real estate, farming, and land development.

A Saturn New Moon

Currently, Sun nears the end of Cancer and enters Leo on Wednesday. Moon entered Cancer this morning and Monday afternoon, it “catches up” with the Sun to form a New Moon at 28.5 degrees Cancer. The problem is that this New Moon opposes Saturn in Capricorn. Negative Saturn aspects do not put the odds on your side. They tend to delay and block versus help and support.

People with a challenging Sun-Saturn aspect in their horoscope are likely to have a harder life than others. They find it hard to express themselves, and there is a tendency toward melancholy, grief, guilt, and low self-esteem. Their lives can be filled with many obstacles and difficulties, although, in the end, their grit, durability, and work ethic can make them successful. Still, it does not come easy.

Therefore, this is not an ideal time to initiate or start something of significance and anything new into your life and anyone new you meet will more likely bring Saturn-like results: delays, restrictions, disappointments, and frustrations.

This Saturn formation will also bring a sharp focus to most issues in our country and worldwide, including the coronavirus.

Your Good Timing Reports

These newsletters serve many functions, including helping you put the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

One of the most practical ways I have helped clients is with a sophisticated system for good timing I have developed based on many years of research, experience, and firsthand applications with my life and businesses. The basic premise is that "there is a time for everything." Nothing beats a good plan and hard work, but it sure helps to have the "stars" on your side. Many times over the years, I have seen important personal and professional decisions made on "lousy" days. The results have not been good.

Current Sun Sign Factors

The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.

Mars in Aries from June 27 until January 07, 2021, boosts Aries and a lesser degree to the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also be challenging Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn. So contact me or check the planets or points you have in these signs to know when you will likely experience stress and perhaps make mistakes during these six and a half months due to the increased demands, anxiety, and possible conflicts related to these planets and points.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, opportunities, and good fortune, retrograde at 21.5 degrees Capricorn, brings opportunities for anyone born around the twelfth of any month, especially January, April, May, July, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 21 degrees.

Saturn, retrograde at 29 degrees Capricorn, is likely bringing additional pressures along with tests, trials, delays, losses, and harsh realities for anyone born around the twentieth of April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 29 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Uranus at 10.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around May 02 and anyone with planets and points around 10 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around January 31, May 01, July 31, October 01, October 31, and December 01 as well as for anyone with planets and points around 10 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.

Neptune retrograde at 21 degrees Pisces brings favorable opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions, for a Pisces born around March 12 and anyone with planets and points around 21 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 12 and a Scorpio born around November 12.

Pluto retrograde at 23.5 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 14 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fifteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 24 degrees of the above signs.

Lunar Aspects with Moon in Cancer

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed below are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time given. They can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.

Saturday, July 18

10:23 AM Moon entered Cancer, where it remains until Tuesday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Leo.

Sunday, July 19

12:18 AM + (Moon in Cancer 00 Mercury in Cancer) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, communication, and writing because this aspect creates a more active mind.

08:38 AM - (Moon in Cancer 90 Mars in Aries) opportunities for being bolder and more direct. However, this aspect can magnify feelings, passions, and motivations, and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.

Monday, July 20

12:00 AM - (Moon in Cancer 120 Neptune in Pisces) opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations.

01:26 AM + (Moon in Cancer 180 Jupiter in Capricorn) opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

05:04 AM - (Moon in Cancer 180 Pluto in Capricorn) opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

01:32 PM + (Moon in Cancer 00 Sun in Cancer) the exact time for the New Moon highlighted at the top of this newsletter.

01:54 PM - (Moon in Cancer 180 Saturn in Capricorn) opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.

01:54 PM Moon in Cancer Void until 04:16 PM when it enters the next sign, Leo.

Guidelines for Using This Information

These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.

Keep in mind that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan for and participate in your life more wisely. It is often obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.

The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. If you live in on the West Coast, for example, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.

The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences.

The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.

During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are many factors in a horoscope besides one's sun sign.

To know what’s going on in your horoscope, and to make better decisions at better times, contact me. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
