Impulses Versus Safety
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report
Moon in the fire sign Aries from early Saturday morning until early Monday afternoon gives a boost to Aries, and a lesser degree, to the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius. Moon in Aries also helps any planets and points you have in Aries and should bring together more things for Aries on a short-term basis.
Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Aries also supports anyone’s involvement with Aries-related activities and attitudes such as being more spontaneous, direct, assertive, forceful, courageous, and competitive; exploring, innovating, and crusading; and physical efforts such as manual labor, exercising, and working out.
Impulses Versus Safety
With Sun in Cancer and Moon in Aries, we have a Sun-Moon combination that brings contrasting differences to any child born, decision made, and business started around this time. In a nutshell, Aries acts more on impulses, and Cancer desires safety and assurance.
Aries is quicker and more excitable- “let’s jump in and get going.” Cancer is more slow and deliberate- “I need to make sure before I step forward.” Aries wants excitement and freedom with no boundaries. Cancer wants consistency and certainty with tangible results.
The fiery nature of Aries can scorch and upset the sensitive and defensive nature of Canter, and the cautiousness of the water sign Cancer can smother the quickness and spontaneity of the fire in Aries. These contrasts between the “go” of Aries and the “slow” of Cancer can be challenging for your psyche and relationships.
Still, the differences can create favorable checks and balances. The more deliberate nature of Cancer can temper and stabilize the exuberance of Aries. The need for Aries to get going and explore new ideas and territories can motivate Cancer to go beyond their fears and need for safety and security.
Mercury Direct
As highlighted in recent newsletters, Mercury direct is finally here - Sunday morning at 04:26 AM ET. Recall that the days before and after Mercury turns direct are more significant than the exact time Mercury goes direct.

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you should know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors besides your sun sign, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Mars in Aries from June 27 until January 07, 2021, boosts Aries and a lesser degree to the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius. During this period, Mars, the planet related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, will also be challenging Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn. So contact me or check the planets or points you have in these signs to know when you will likely experience stress and perhaps make mistakes during these six and a half months due to the increased demands, anxiety, and possible conflicts related to these planets and points.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, opportunities, and good fortune, retrograde at 22.5 degrees Capricorn, brings opportunities for anyone born around the thirteenth of any month, especially January, April, May, July, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 23 degrees.
Saturn, retrograde at 29 degrees Capricorn, is likely bringing additional pressures along with tests, trials, delays, losses, and harsh realities for anyone born around the twentieth of April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 29 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Uranus at 10 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around May 01 and anyone with planets and points around 10 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around January 31, May 01, July 31, October 01, October 31, and November 31 as well as for anyone with planets and points around 10 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Neptune retrograde at 21 degrees Pisces brings favorable opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions, for a Pisces born around March 12 and anyone with planets and points around 21 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 12 and a Scorpio born around November 12.
Pluto retrograde at 24 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 14 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fifteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 24 degrees of the above signs.
Lunar Aspects with Moon in Aries
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed below are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time given. They can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.
Saturday, July 11
01:05 AM Moon entered Aries, where it remains until Monday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Taurus.
05:16 PM + - (Moon in Aries 00 Mars in Aries) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for trusting your instincts and being bolder and more direct with how you feel and express yourself. However, this aspect can magnify feelings, passions, and motivations, and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.
08:02 PM + (Moon in Aries 00 Chiron in Aries) brings opportunities for healing relationships and families.
Sunday, July 12
10:24 PM + (Moon in Aries 90 Jupiter in Capricorn) brings opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
Monday, July 13
01:02 AM - (Moon in Aries 90 Pluto in Capricorn) brings opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors may not be fully realized until later.
05:04 AM + (Moon in Aries 45 Venus in Gemini) brings opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
11:54 AM - (Moon in Aries 90 Saturn in Capricorn) brings opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
11:54 AM Moon in Aries Void until 01:33 PM when it enters the next sign, Taurus.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Keep in mind that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what will happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can plan for and participate in your life more wisely. It is often obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. If you live in on the West Coast, for example, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are many factors in a horoscope besides one's sun sign.
To know what’s going on in your horoscope, and to make better decisions at better times, contact me. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
