Solar Eclipse
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report
If you need clarification with any of these factors or explanations, contact me.
Moon in Cancer
Moon in Cancer from Sunday morning until Tuesday morning gives a boost to Cancer, and a lesser degree, to the other water signs, Scorpio and Pisces. Moon in Cancer also helps any planets and points you have in Cancer and should bring together more things for Cancer on a short-term basis.
Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Cancer also supports anyone’s involvement with Cancer-related activities such as helping family and friends and nurturing people along; cooking, household duties, home decorating and repairs; antiques, memories, and genealogy; and gardening, housing, real estate, land development, farming, and agriculture.
Solar Eclipse
During a solar eclipse, the Moon blocks out the Sun, and you can see the fuzzy edges of the Sun, called the corona, a mysterious region far from the Sun itself but swelters outer space with temperatures over one million degrees Fahrenheit. Unfortunately, this solar eclipse will not be visible from anywhere in the United States like in August 2017 when the Great American Solar Eclipse blanketed 14 states and dominated the news, including several of my newsletters.
Yesterday, Sun entered Cancer, and this morning at 02:01 AM, Moon entered Cancer. Shortly thereafter, at 02:41 AM EDT, the Moon aligned with the Sun to form a New Moon and a solar eclipse at 00 degrees Cancer.
Solar eclipses can be thought of as New Moons on steroids because the Sun and Moon align by both longitude and latitude. Eclipses are traditionally known for being ominous, portending disasters and catastrophes when parts of the world plunge into darkness. This is not the case when there are no significant planetary aspects to the Sun and Moon positions.
However, the effects of eclipses are for months before and after their exact date, and this solar eclipse does square Mars, the planet related to strife, stress, upsets, aggravations, aggressions, and violence, and that aspect becomes exact on June 27 when Mars enters Aries.
For You
This eclipse is relevant for the house in your horoscope ruled by Cancer because there will now be an emphasis on the activities to that house. This eclipse is even more relevant for you if you have
planets or points around 00 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn) because it will activate those planets and points. One example is Elizabeth Warren, who has a Sun/Uranus conjunction at 00 degrees Cancer.
Mercury Retrograde Decisions
Last Thursday, Mercury turned retrograde, as covered in my newsletter, Retrograde Heaven. This date is not as significant as the five days before and after Mercury goes retrograde, in this case, Wednesday, June 18 and Sunday, July 12.
Therefore, over the past week, you were more likely to experience shifts and changes with our plans, decisions, and projects as well as how you perceive the relationships and events in your life. This is because Mercury rules our thinking and attitudes as well as communication, planning, decisions, and negotiations.
Unfortunately, many people assume that Mercury retrograde is not favorable for doing anything, such as making decisions and signing papers. But this is not always the case. There are many other factors to consider, such as what is occurring in your horoscope. For example, this may be one of the better weeks for you in years astrologically, which would override any effects Mercury retrograde may have.

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you need to know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the Coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors to consider besides your sun sign, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, opportunities, and good fortune, retrograde at 25 degrees Capricorn, brings opportunities for anyone born around the sixteenth of any month, especially January, April, May, July, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 25 degrees.
Saturn, retrograde at 0.5 degrees Aquarius, is likely bringing additional pressures along with tests, trials, delays, losses, and harsh realities for anyone born around the twenty-first of April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 00 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Uranus at 09.5 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 30 and anyone with planets and points around 09 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the thirtieth of January, April, July, September, October, and November as well as for anyone with planets and points around 10 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Neptune turning retrograde at 21 degrees Pisces brings favorable opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions, for a Pisces born around March 12 and anyone with planets and points around 21 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 12 and a Scorpio born around November 12.
Pluto retrograde and approaching 24 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 14 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fifteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 24 degrees of the above signs.
Lunar Aspects with Moon in Cancer
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed below are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time given. They can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.
Sunday, June 21
02:01 AM Moon entered Cancer, where it remains until Tuesday morning when it enters the next sign, Leo.
02:41 AM (Moon in Cancer 00 Sun in Cancer) the exact time of the New Moon and Solar Eclipse explained at the top of this newsletter.
03:16 AM - (Moon in Cancer 150 Saturn in Aquarius) brings opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is also challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
Monday, June 22
04:01 AM + (Moon in Cancer 00 Mercury in Cancer) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, communication, and writing because this aspect creates a more active mind.
03:27 PM + (Moon in Cancer 45 Venus in Gemini) brings opportunities for cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
04:21 PM + (Moon in Cancer 120 Neptune in Pisces) brings opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations.
10:18 PM - (Moon in Cancer 180 Pluto in Capricorn) brings opportunities for digging deeper into your emotions and feelings. However, this aspect can complicate relationships with subtle yet emotionally charged situations, including manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, which are often not fully realized until later.
11:28 PM + (Moon in Cancer 180 Jupiter in Capricorn) brings opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public. This lunar aspect also increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
Tuesday, June 23
03:20 AM + (Moon in Cancer 120 Mars in Pisces) brings opportunities for trusting your instincts and being bolder and more direct with how you feel and express yourself.
03:20 AM Moon in Cancer Void until 08:33 AM when it enters the next sign, Leo.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Keep in mind that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. If you live in on the West Coast, for example, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are many factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
To know what’s going on in your horoscope, and to make better decisions at better times, contact me. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
