Summer Solstice
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Timing Report
If you need clarification with any of these factors or explanations, contact me.
Moon in Gemini
Moon in Gemini from Thursday afternoon until early Sunday morning gives a boost to Gemini, and a lesser degree, to the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius. Moon in Gemini also helps any planets and points you have in Gemini and should help bring more things together for Gemini on a short-term basis.
Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Gemini also supports anyone’s involvement with Gemini-related activities such as sales, teaching, writing, and intellectual pursuits; communicating and exchanging information by sending emails, writing letters, and calling friends; any social event which connects you with new acquaintances; exploring curiosity by reading a book, watching documentaries, and gathering information on different topics; and short trips for fun, pleasure, and education.
The Summer Solstice
The summer solstice is the exact moment the Sun is at its highest point in the sky each year, and this year it’s at 05:43 PM EDT Saturday. The summer solstice marks the beginning of astronomical summer in the Northern Hemisphere and occurs when the sun is directly above the Tropic of Cancer, the farthest north the sun moves in the sky, which is why the days close to the solstice have the most daylight of the year.
According to USA Today, “In reality, in many parts of the country, it has already felt like summer for at least three weeks, which is why meteorologists call summer to be the hottest three months of the year (June, July, and August). But the real heat is still to come. On average, there is a one-month lag between the solstice and peak summer temperatures, according to climatologist Brian Brettschneider. That’s why July is almost always the hottest month of the year in most locations. And it’s likely to be a hot one: The Climate Prediction Center’s latest forecast through August is for warmer than average temperatures for most of the U.S.”
Mercury Retrograde Decisions
Yesterday at 12:58 AM, Mercury turned retrograde as covered in my recent newsletter, Retrograde Heaven. The time 12:58 AM is not as significant as the five days before and after Mercury goes retrograde, in this case, Wednesday, June 18 and Sunday, July 12.
Therefore, over the past few days and the next few days, you are more likely to experience shifts and changes with our plans, decisions, and projects as well as how you perceive the relationships and events in your life because Mercury rules our thinking and attitudes as well as communication, planning, decisions, and negotiations.
Unfortunately, many people assume that Mercury retrograde is not good for making any plans and decisions, such as signing papers. But this is not always the case. There are many other factors to consider, such as what is occurring in your horoscope. For example, this may be one of the better weeks for you in years astrologically, which would override any effects Mercury retrograde may have.

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you need to know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the Coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors to consider besides your sun sign, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, opportunities, and good fortune, retrograde approaching 25 degrees Capricorn, brings opportunities for anyone born around the sixteenth of any month, especially January, April, May, July, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 25 degrees.
Saturn, retrograde at 1.0 degrees Aquarius, is likely bringing additional pressures along with tests, trials, delays, losses, and harsh realities for anyone born around the twenty-second of April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 01 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Uranus at 09 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 30 and anyone with planets and points around 09 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the thirtieth of January, April, July, September, October, and November as well as for anyone with planets and points around 09 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Neptune at 21 degrees Pisces brings favorable opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions, for a Pisces born around March 12 and anyone with planets and points around 21 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 12 and a Scorpio born around November 12.
Pluto retrograde and approaching 24 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 14 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fifteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 24 degrees of the above signs.
Lunar Aspects with Moon in Gemini

Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Keep in mind that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. If you live in on the West Coast, for example, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are many factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
To know what’s going on in your horoscope, and to make better decisions at better times, contact me. We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
