Moon in Taurus
Moon in Taurus from Tuesday morning until Thursday afternoon gives a boost to Taurus, and a lesser degree, to the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. Moon in Taurus also helps any planets and points you have in Taurus and should help bring more things together for Taurus on a short-term basis.
Within the context of social distancing, Moon in Taurus also supports anyone’s involvement with Taurus-related activities such as gardening, landscaping, agriculture, and geology; connecting with nature by walking in a park or going to the countryside; dealing with financial matters such as organizing records and collecting debts; buying and selling things of value; and artistic endeavors such as singing, painting, sculpture, and designing.
Set & Adaptable
Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around this time will have the following qualities and characteristics. With the Sun nearing the end of the air sign Gemini and the Moon in the earth sign Taurus, we have a Sun-Moon combination with significant differences psychologically and otherwise, even though they are only one sign apart.
Taurus is more slow, deliberate, and resisting to change. Gemini prefers change, quickness, and seeks a variety of intellectual stimulation. Taurus is more stable, grounded, and steady, which Gemini appreciates, but the stubbornness and slowness of Taurus to embrace new experiences can test Gemini.
Taurus is intrigued by Gemini's wit and mental agility but can be annoyed by their inability to commit and follow through with their intentions. Gemini likes to talk and jump around rapidly from one topic to the next. Taurus is more inclined to digest one concept at a time.
Both signs are more friendly and agreeable than other sign combinations, but each must learn to adjust to and respect the other's needs, or else, they will get in each other's way. The down to earth practicality of Taurus can temper and stabilize the flightiness of Gemini, and Geminis’ flexibility and need to explore new ideas and ventures can help Taurus loosen their set habits and lifestyles.
Good careers for this sign combination are any field combining the practicality, steadiness, and artistic strengths of Taurus with Gemini’s intellectual, communication, and educational skills.
Mercury Retrograde
Thursday at 12:58 AM is the exact time Mercury goes retrograde as covered in my last newsletter, Retrograde Heaven. This exact time is not as important as the fact that my research indicates that the five days before and after Mercury goes retrograde (in this case Wednesday, June 18) and the five days before and after Mercury goes direct (Sunday, July 12) are the most significant days for Mercury retrograde.
With Mercury retrograde, there can be significant shifts with your plans. You need to be more careful with decisions because there are more “mess-ups” and complications than usual. Mercury rules thoughts and communication, so there is more likely to be mental lapses and mistakes, misunderstandings, false assumptions, missed appointments, lost checks, written typos, and cancellations and postponements.
Most important is that the decisions you make and the plans you start with Mercury retrograde are more likely to take a twist and be seen in a different light when unforeseen assumptions and mistakes "come to light” after Mercury goes direct.

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you need to know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the Coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors to consider besides your sun sign, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, opportunities, and good fortune, retrograde at 25.5 degrees Capricorn, brings opportunities for anyone born around the sixteenth of any month, especially January, April, May, July, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 25 degrees.
Saturn, retrograde at 1.0 degrees Aquarius, is likely bringing additional pressures along with tests, trials, delays, losses, and harsh realities for anyone born around the twenty-second of April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 01 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Uranus at 09 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 30 and anyone with planets and points around 09 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the thirtieth of January, April, July, September, October, and November as well as for anyone with planets and points around 09 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Neptune at 21 degrees Pisces brings favorable opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions, for a Pisces born around March 12 and anyone with planets and points around 21 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 12 and a Scorpio born around November 12.
Pluto retrograde and approaching 24 degrees Capricorn is a potentially positive influence for a Capricorn born around January 14 and a potentially challenging and transformative period for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fifteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 24 degrees of the above signs.
Lunar Aspects with Moon in Taurus
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed below are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time given. They can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.
Tuesday, June 16
05:35 AM Moon entered Taurus, where it remains until Thursday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Gemini.
07:28 AM - (Moon in Taurus 90 Saturn in Aquarius) brings opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.
05:31 PM - (Moon in Taurus 45 Neptune in Pisces) brings opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation, and highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
09:56 PM - (Moon in Taurus 45 Mars in Pisces) brings opportunities for trusting your instincts and being bolder and more direct with how you feel and express yourself. However, this aspect can magnify feelings, passions, and motivations, and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.
Wednesday, June 17
12:15 AM + - (Moon in Taurus 00 Uranus in Taurus) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for increased instincts, willfulness, and aspirations regarding anything new, different, exciting, and adventuresome. However, this aspect also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
Thursday, June 18
06:00 AM + (Moon in Taurus 120 Pluto in Capricorn) brings opportunities for psychic impressions and being more in touch with your deeper feelings and emotions.
08:02 AM + (Moon in Taurus 120 Jupiter Capricorn) brings opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public because this lunar aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
04:30 PM + (Moon in Taurus 45 Mercury in Cancer) brings opportunities for perception, thoughtfulness, communication, and writing because this aspect creates a more active mind.
04:30 PM Moon in Taurus Void until 04:59 PM when it enters the next sign, Gemini.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for astrology students. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Keep in mind that these newsletters do not intend to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. If you live in on the West Coast, for example, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon is in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
The traits and qualities I assign to the signs in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality. However, the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are many factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.

We will schedule a private consultation at my office or on the phone, so you can know more about your future and better understand the issues and opportunities in your life as well as your relationships, job, career, education, finances, children, parents, travel, health, location, retirement, karma, and purpose in life.
