Moon in Taurus
Moon in Taurus from Wednesday afternoon until Saturday morning gives a boost to Taurus, and a lesser degree, to the other earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn. Moon in Taurus also helps any planets and points you have in Taurus and should help bring more things together for Taurus on a short-term basis.
Within the context of social distancing, this New Moon is especially supportive of anyone’s involvement with Taurus-related activities such as gardening, landscaping, agriculture, and geology; connecting with nature by walking in a park or going to the countryside; dealing with financial matters such as organizing records and collecting debts; buying and selling things of value; and artistic endeavors such as singing, painting, sculpture, and designing.
Important New Moon
Sun entered Taurus on Sunday. This evening at 10:25 PM ET, Moon in Taurus aligns with the Sun to form a New Moon at 03 degrees Taurus. New Moons represent new beginnings and fresh starts and emphasize on the house in your horoscope ruled by Taurus. This New Moon is more relevant for those born around the twenty-third of January, April, July, and October and anyone with planets and points around 03 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
This New Moon is important because it is aligned with Uranus, the planet of inventiveness, willfulness, nervousness, shocks, and unexpected changes. Therefore, for the coming week, expect more surprises, disputes, ego-battles, and highly charged situations; expect more restlessness and intolerance, people demanding less social and other restrictions brought by the coronavirus: and expect more scientific advances and breakthroughs for testing and treating the coronavirus.
With Moon in Taurus, there are three challenging lunar aspects you want to be aware of. Moon 90 Saturn this evening, Moon 00 Uranus Thursday morning, and Moon 90 Mars Friday morning. Recall that the lunar (Moon) aspects listed at the end of these newsletters are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time given. They can be quite relevant for right timing, that is, choosing to start or initiate a meeting, decision, project, or trip, for example, at a favorable time.

Current Sun Sign Factors
The following sign assessments are only “the tip of the iceberg” for what you need to know about what is occurring in your horoscope, especially now with the coronavirus dramatically shifting our world as we know it. A complete evaluation of what is happening in your horoscope is far more complex and involved than what any newsletter can present. For example, there are dozens of factors to consider besides your sun sign, such as the transits to all the planets and points in your horoscope. However, merely being aware of the current transits to the position of your Sun and other planets explained in this newsletter can be invaluable because the outer planets (Uranus Neptune Pluto), for example, can create life-altering trends and events. For a complete analysis, contact me.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, opportunities, and good fortune, at 26.5 degrees Capricorn, brings opportunities for anyone born around the seventeenth of any month, especially January, April, May, July, September, and October and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 27 degrees.
Saturn, approaching 02 degrees Aquarius, is likely bringing additional pressures along with tests, trials, delays, losses, and harsh realities for anyone born around the twenty-first of April, June, July, August, and October and anyone with points or planets around 01 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Uranus at 06 degrees Taurus brings significant shifts, changes, adjustments, breakthroughs, and even shocks for a Taurus born around April 27 and anyone with planets and points around 06 degrees Taurus. Uranus is also likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born around the twenty-sixth of January, April, July, September, October, and November as well as for anyone with planets and points around 06 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Neptune at 20 degrees Pisces is creating favorable opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality and/or deception, confusion, weakness, and even illnesses and debilitating conditions, for a Pisces born around March 10 and anyone with planets and points around 20 degrees Pisces. Neptune in Pisces is also creating opportunities for healing, inspiration, imagination, creativity, and spirituality for a Cancer born around July 10 and a Scorpio born around November 10.
Pluto at 25 degrees Capricorn is bringing powerful influences for a Capricorn born around January 15 and significant challenges and fundamental changes for an Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Libra born around the fifteenth of the month and anyone with planets or points around 25 degrees of the above signs.
Lunar Aspects with Moon in Taurus
Wednesday, April 22
03:35 PM Moon entered Taurus, where it remains until Saturday morning when it enters the next sign, Gemini.
06:59 PM - (Moon in Taurus 90 Saturn in Aquarius) brings opportunities for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it is emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females.
10:25 PM + (Moon in Taurus 00 Sun in Taurus) the exact time for the New Moon highlighted at the top of this newsletter.
Thursday, April 23
01:37 AM - (Moon in Taurus 45 Neptune in Pisces) brings opportunities for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. However, this aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion and is not ideal for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
04:28 AM + - (Moon in Taurus 00 Uranus in Taurus) this intense once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for increased instincts and willfulness, but can also bring nervousness, anxiety, fears, upsets, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations.
Friday, April 24
01:30 AM - (Moon in Taurus 90 Mars in Aquarius) brings opportunities for trusting your instincts and being bolder and more direct with how you feel and express yourself. However, this aspect can magnify feelings, passions, and motivations, and bring upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions.
05:26 PM + (Moon in Taurus 120 Pluto in Capricorn) brings opportunities for females who are influential, productive, and psychic. This aspect also increases the possibilities for practical and solid business plans as well as deeper feelings and psychic impressions.
08:42 PM + (Moon in Taurus 120 Jupiter Capricorn) brings opportunities for any interpersonal situation, including meetings and working with the public because it increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
08:42 PM Moon in Taurus Void until 03:19 AM Saturday when it enters the next sign, Gemini.
This Void is almost seven hours, so take note because during Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. It’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for students of astrology. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. If you live in on the West Coast, for example, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope. However, if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
