Eight Things to Know with Moon in Scorpio

1. With Moon in Scorpio from early Monday evening until late Wednesday evening, the stars continue to be more on a harmonious side, which means there are favorable opportunities for right timing. Contact me so you can take advantage of the best times to make decisions and initiate actions.
2. Moon in Scorpio gives a boost to Scorpio, any planets you have in Scorpio, and to a lesser degree the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces. Moon in Scorpio also supports anyone’s involvement with Scorpio-related activities such as being more attuned to intimacy, sexuality, and power issues; working on deeper emotions and feelings such as anger and resentment; focusing on self-transformation, esoteric studies, and the mysteries of life; mathematical and scientific exploration and research; and dealing with taxes, debts, insurance, wills, surgery, medical records, brokerage accounts, and credit card statements.
3. With Sun in Virgo and Moon in Scorpio, we have a Sun-Moon combination which can be extremely focused, thorough, and discerning. Virgo-Scorpio is deeper, profound, and more inwardly oriented than other sign combinations. People with this emphasis in their horoscopes (or with a six and eight house emphasis) are typically quite capable and productive with their work and duties. They are discriminating, analytical, and precise, and are drawn to jobs and careers that require exact thinking and analysis. Virgo is related to analytical and discriminating thinking with an inclination toward routine and detail work. Scorpio is related to depth and research with a bent toward research, medicine, and finances.
4. On Tuesday, a powerful planetary alignment in effect this past week becomes exact. It is no doubt contributing to Hurricane Dorian being tied for an 84-year record as the most powerful Atlantic hurricane to come ashore. Mercury conjuncts Mars once a year, Sun conjuncts Mercury once a year, and both these aspects are occurring within hours of each other. Mercury rules the wind, Sun rules power and influence, and Mars rules energy and intensity.
5. This alignment also represents extraordinary mental strengths and abilities with Mercury ruling the mind, words, and thinking. People with this planetary combination have sharp, active minds and a wealth of ideas and intellectual successes. They can express themselves in a clear, decisive, and convincing style. They love to discuss matters directly and openly and dislike vagueness and fuzzy thinking. They can be an effective spokesperson, lawyer, salesperson, and have an aptitude for writing, particularly criticism and satire. The problem is that they can offend people by being too direct, frank, aggressive, and faultfinding.
6. This Sun-Mercury-Mars combination is favorable for everyone. It’s an excellent time to start a writing or speaking program or to focus on research and studies, and this is especially favorable for those born around the first of any month and anyone with planets and points around 10 degrees of any sign.
7. On Wednesday, Venus opposes Neptune. This fantasy aspect occurs once a year and has been in effect for days. People with this aspect have a far-reaching capacity for love and emotional rapport. They have high ideals and an excellent receptivity for beauty, art, and music. The problem is that this aspect can also indicate the hopeless romantic wrapped up in emotional fantasies, always longing and wishing for love. So, if you are on a date or you meet someone new around this day, love may be “in the air.” Remember though to keep your feet on the ground. Venus and Neptune represent all that’s good about love and life, but with this being a challenging aspect, the hopes, dreams, idealism, and fantasies promised may be hard to realize.

09:26 PM - (Moon in Scorpio 45 Saturn in Capricorn) can provide an atmosphere for conscientious, orderly, steady, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities. However, this aspect is challenging because it’s emotionally restrictive and can create issues, worries, and differences.

Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters are not your typical sun sign column. They provide much more information and guidance, but with so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for students of astrology. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The times given are for the Eastern Time Zone, so you need to adjust the times for where you live. If you live in on the West Coast, for example, there is a three-hour difference, which means you need to subtract three hours.
The factors explained at the top of this newsletter are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (up to a week or more). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed at the end of this newsletter are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) lunar aspects are favorable. The minus (-) lunar aspects are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - lunar aspect, which means that aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try: the better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your
horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
