My recent newsletters indicated that the middle two weeks of June would probably be the most challenging and even perilous this year. The reason is a string of powerful and challenging aspects which would more likely bring shocks, disputes, intolerances, instability, restlessness, ego-battles, and highly charged situations. The possibilities also increase for storms, extreme weather, natural disasters, attacks, aggression, accidents, shootings, violence, protests, anarchy, and escalated military tensions.
These challenges continue through the middle of this week due to the * factors listed below. They are explained later in this newsletter.
So, if you have been feeling stressed or restless this past week, it’s understandable, especially if you are facing important issues and decisions or experiencing problematic patterns in your horoscope. For most people (depending on their horoscope and personal cycles), nothing extraordinary is happening; but those with Sun, Moon, planets, and points around 22 to 23 degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn) should continue to be more careful and vigilant.

*** 11:21 AM - (Jupiter in Sagittarius 90 Neptune in Pisces) in effect this whole year and exact this week, this important aspect was reported in a newsletter earlier this year when I stated, “In my 2019 Forecast Workshop I discussed dozens of topics including the effects of a major aspect, Jupiter in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces, in effect most of this year. One impact from this aspect will be increased rain and flooding resulting in many problems including mudslides and crop damage. Neptune rules water, Pisces is ruled by Neptune, and square aspects from Jupiter tend to magnify and overdo whatever it touches. Therefore, I suggest that 2019 should be a good year to be a plumber or to have a business dealing with floods and water damage.”

* 03:34 AM - (Mars in Cancer 180 Saturn-Pluto Midpoint) this powerful and even perilous planetary alignment is related to heightened differences and disputes, intolerances, instability, restlessness, ego-battles, and highly charged situations. The possibilities also increase for storms, extreme weather, natural disasters, attacks, aggression, accidents, shootings, violence, protests, anarchy, and escalated military tensions.
* 04:30 AM (Full Moon with Sun at 26 degrees Gemini and Moon at 26 degrees Sagittarius) any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, or birth started near a Full Moon needs to find a middle ground between the needs of the two signs involved because there are significant differences in how they approach life.
The challenges related to integrating the needs of Gemini and Sagittarius are not as profound and complicated as it is with the other sign combinations. In fact, Gemini and Sagittarius are in many ways similar because their planetary rulers (Mercury and Jupiter) are similar in nature. Both are more open, friendly, and extrovert than closed, secretive, and introvert.
Gemini and Sagittarius are curious and want to explore the world by seeking a variety of information and personal interactions. They love to study, travel, and discover new ideas. I call this sign combination the “eternal student.”

* 12:04 PM + - (Mercury in Cancer 00 Mars in Cancer) this once a year aspect in effect this past week represents extraordinary mental strengths, but one needs to be careful with what they say. People with this aspect have strong, active minds. They can express themselves in a clear, decisive, and convincing style. They love to discuss matters directly and openly. They dislike vagueness and fuzzy thinking and are quick to point out discrepancies in other’s arguments. They can be an effective spokesperson, lawyer, salesperson, and have an aptitude for writing as well, particularly criticism and satire, but they can be verbally aggressive and abrasive toward others and tend to overstate their case or offend people by their frankness, faultfinding, and directness which can get them in trouble with breakups, disputes, and lawsuits.

There’s more likely to be upsets, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that upsets and volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
* 06:55 AM - (Mercury in Cancer 180 Pluto in Capricorn) people with this aspect have deep and penetrating minds and have interests in anything secret, mysterious, or hidden, including the deeper aspects of the human psyche. They possess an aptitude for private investigation, psychology, and research, and are drawn to esoteric studies, but their thoughts can be obsessive, and there is a tendency to dominate conversations and the thoughts and attitudes of others.

06:34 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 135 Venus in Gemini) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
06:47 PM Moon in Capricorn Void until 10:00 PM when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.
* 11:26 PM - (Mars in Cancer 180 Pluto in Capricorn) another significant and discordant aspect in effect this past week which increases the possibilities for turmoil, violence, assaults, injuries, brutality, ruthlessness, murders, earthquakes, and extreme weather. It is also connected with fanaticism and self-righteousness. There is a need to “be right” with little room for compromise or contrary thinking. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in Washington DC and around the world with all the current discord and challenges.
On the plus side, Mars-Pluto aspects are favorable for hard work, focused efforts, determination, persistence, and endurance. This aspect represents the fighter and soldier and can generate extraordinary energy and determination to help you be more productive and achieving. There are always positive and productive ways to work with and manifest challenging planetary energies.
Guidelines for Using This Information
These newsletters provide much more information and guidance than other sun sign horoscope columns. With so many factors presented, it can be difficult to sort everything out, even for students of astrology. I try to keep everything as clear and straightforward as possible.
Keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (up to a week or more). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant than the * factors because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the Eastern Time given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor, which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference with important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
