Six Highlights

The skies are active early this week with six significant factors.
~ Tuesday Mercury turns retrograde. Recall that about five days before and after Mercury goes retrograde (in this case Tuesday, March 05), you need to be more careful with your thinking, plans, and decisions. Typically, there are more shifts and complications than usual because Mercury rules our thinking and communication. The decisions you make and the plans you start with Mercury retrograde are more likely to take a twist later and be seen in a different light when unforeseen assumptions and mistakes "come to light” after Mercury goes direct (in this case Thursday, March 28).
On the plus side, Mercury retrograde periods are favorable for inwardly-oriented activities such as reflection, reviewing, and meditation. It’s good to allow more time for writing, editing, researching, and problem-solving. Many successful organizations, companies, corporations, and individuals have Mercury retrograde, but unfortunately, people continue to believe that when Mercury is retrograde, everything is supposed to go wrong. They are unaware that other factors are contributing to their issues such as challenging transits from Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto to their horoscope.

~ Tuesday Sun forms a challenging minor aspect to Uranus which increases the possibilities this past week for shocks, disputes, intolerance, surprises, instability, restlessness, ego-battles, and highly charged situations, especially involving males, as well as high winds, electrical storms, weather extremes, tornadoes, earthquakes as well as accidents, shootings, violence, wars, anarchy and revolutions, attacks, aggression, violence, natural disasters, earthquakes, and escalated military tensions. On the plus side, Sun Uranus aspects generate originality, creativity, innovations, and breakthroughs.
~ Wednesday morning Uranus enters Taurus which has significant implications for the world over next six years. Last May Uranus moved from Aries to Taurus for the first time in 84 years. In November Uranus reentered Aries after going retrograde earlier, and today Uranus returns to Taurus where it remains until 2025 when it enters the next sign, Gemini.
Uranus in Taurus will create significant shifts, changes, and adjustments for Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius and any planets and points you have in these signs over the next six years. There will also be significant opportunities for the earth signs (Taurus Virgo Capricorn) and to a lesser degree the water signs (Cancer and Pisces).

~ Wednesday morning there’s a New Moon in Pisces at 15.75 degrees which is significant for you depending on what house Pisces rules in your horoscope. Look to 16 degrees Pisces and any aspects from that point to planets in your horoscope.
~ Wednesday evening Sun in Pisces aligns with Neptune in Pisces to create a once a year solar aspect which brings the potential for spiritual and artistic inspirations, especially because this New Moon is in Pisces. People with Sun conjunct Neptune are highly sensitive and receptive to all impressions. They have an active imagination and are inclined towards mysticism, spirituality, dreams, and psychic experiences. They are capable of sympathy and compassion for others as well as exceptional skills in music, art, and other creative endeavors. On the other hand, due to the influence of Neptune, they can also be frail, moody, naive, overly sensitive, and susceptible to escapism and self-deception.
~ Thursday afternoon, there is a cluster of short-term aspects involving Moon, Mercury, and Mars which occur within a short time.
Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, at 04 to 07 degrees Aquarius is benefiting the house in your horoscope ruled by Aquarius and anyone with planets and points around 04 to 07 degrees of the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius).
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, from 12 to 14 degrees Taurus is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the fourteenth of January, July, August, September, October, and November and anyone with planets or points at 12 to 14 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 22.5 degrees Sagittarius, brings opportunities for anyone born around the thirteenth of any month, especially December, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 23 degrees.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn at 18 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the ninth of January, April, June, July, August, and October and for anyone with points or planets around 18 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should know that Uranus 00 degrees Taurus is likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born early Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius as well as for anyone with planets and points at 00 degrees of the above signs.
Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces should know that Neptune at 16 degrees Pisces is likely bringing confusion, deception, and even debilitating situations for anyone born around the seventh of March, June, August, September, October, and December as well as for anyone with planets and points around 16 degrees of the above signs.

02:08 PM + (Moon in Pisces 00 Mercury in Pisces) this once a month lunar aspect favors reflection, writing, and communication because it creates a more active exchange between the conscious and unconscious minds.
02:12 PM - (Moon in Pisces 45 Mars in Aquarius) intensifies interpersonal situations and is likely to bring impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions, especially involving females. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that upsets and volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.

Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
