Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

This Friday Saturday Sunday there are two plus * factors (Mercury-Jupiter and Venus-Pluto) and a harmonious Sun-Moon combination in the water signs starting Saturday morning. There are also five challenging lunar aspects, three on Friday and two on Saturday. Anyone with one of these five challenging lunar aspects in their horoscope would have issues to work through during their lifetime, so be aware of them, especially for right timing.

Right Timing Example

Recently a client asked me to find a good time to launch a marketing campaign for her business. I asked her about her project and what time she thought would be good for her. When she said later this week, I checked and saw the Mercury-Jupiter aspect listed in this newsletter for Friday. I explained to her why this is a terrific aspect for marketing because both planets are related to sales, communication, education, and marketing.

I also noticed that at 01:19 PM on Friday, a challenging lunar aspect involving Moon and Saturn would need to be avoided. The Moon has to do with the public, and discordant Saturn aspects deny and negate. After further research and calculations including the transits and progressions in her horoscope, I came up with the best time to launch her marketing campaign on Friday.

The process of picking the best time to do what you want to achieve is called Electional Astrology. It’s far more involved and complicated than what I just explained, but this example illustrates how the aspect descriptions provided in these newsletters can help you plan more wisely. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.

Sun Sign Updates

Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, at 22 to 24 degrees Capricorn is benefiting the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn and anyone with planets and points at 22 to 24 degrees of Capricorn.

Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 06 degrees Taurus is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the twenty-seventh of January, July, August, September, October, and November and anyone with planets or points at 06 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 21 degrees Sagittarius, brings opportunities for anyone born around the twelfth of any month, especially December, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 21 degrees.

Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn at 17 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the eighth of January, April, June, July, August, and October and for anyone with points or planets around 17 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Friday, February 22

10:52 AM - (Moon in Libra 150 Neptune in Pisces) increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

01:19 PM - (Moon in Libra 90 Saturn in Capricorn) provides an atmosphere for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities, but can create issues, worries, differences, and hard feelings, especially involving females and families.

03:39 PM + * (Mercury in Pisces 90 Jupiter in Sagittarius) in effect this past week, this aspect brings a wealth of ideas, intellectual success, and the gift of speech. It’s associated with the writer, scientist, and trial attorney. People with this aspect are open-minded and want to broaden their experiences. They have writing, teaching, and language skills and are more interested in the big picture than details. However, their optimism and enthusiastic plans needs to be balanced with realism and attention to details; else they are prone save file to errors in judgment and promising more than they can deliver.

08:21 PM + (Moon in Libra 150 Mercury in Pisces) favors reflection, writing, and communication because this lunar aspect creates a more active exchange between the conscious and unconscious minds.

09:46 PM + (Moon in Libra 90 Venus in Capricorn) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

09:51 PM - (Moon in Libra 90 Pluto in Capricorn) can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving females and family matters. There’s more likely to be subtle yet emotionally charged situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors may not be fully realized until later.

10:52 PM + * (Venus in Capricorn 00 Pluto in Capricorn) in effect this past week, this powerful once a year planetary combination creates intense feelings of love and attractiveness as well as special artistic gifts. Any child born around today and any business or project started around today will have these qualities.

Saturday, February 23

04:17 AM + (Moon in Libra 90 Node in Cancer) favors connecting with people such as networking and reaching out to others because it enhances social interactions as well as any alliances with groups large and small.

10:10 AM - (Moon in Libra 180 Uranus in Aries) enhances willfulness and instincts but also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, willfulness, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations, especially involving females.

10:10 AM Moon in Libra Void until 10:55 AM when it enters the next sign, Scorpio. With Sun in Pisces and Moon in Scorpio from this morning until Monday morning, we have a harmonious Sun Moon combination in the water signs.

If Pisces and Scorpio are emphasized in your horoscope, or you are in a Pisces Scorpio relationship, there is much going on below the surface that is not easily understood by yourself and others. The waters run deep like the oceans and the seas which Pisces and Scorpio represent astrologically.

In this regards, Pisces and Scorpio are not easily understood by others. They are more mysterious than other sign combinations and have psychic and natural healing abilities along with an innate understanding of the unity and interconnectedness of life.

A challenge is that a Pisces Scorpio person can find it difficult to articulate their feelings and inner experiences in logical and rational terms. Words seem inadequate for the depth of their emotions. The language of touch, music or visual imagery can be more natural.

Furthermore, they can get extremely close to those they care for, but also absorb their feelings too strongly and begin to identify with their problems as if they were their own. They need to be in an atmosphere that’s positive and upbeat or else they absorb the “bad vibes“ and end up feeling badly themselves.

10:12 PM - (Moon in Scorpio 180 Mars in Taurus) intensifies interpersonal situations and is likely to bring impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions, especially involving females. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.

Sunday, February 24

02:28 PM + (Moon in Scorpio 120 Neptune in Pisces) brings opportunities for right brain activities such as healing, prayer, spirituality, mysticism, meditation, psychic phenomena, daydreaming, imagination, creativity, music, art, and other creative endeavors.

Guidelines for Using This Information

I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.

For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.

The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.

The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.

The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.

During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
