Weekend Stars
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
A reminder: My 2019 Forecast Workshop this Sunday will cover Trump, the USA, the Stock Market, Your Sun Sign, and several other important topics. Click here for details.
As highlighted in my last newsletter, an intense aspect becomes exact late this evening EST. In effect this past week, Mars square Pluto increased the possibilities for inconveniences, fanaticism, turmoil, violence, assaults, injuries, murders, natural calamities, and extreme weather.
This aspect is particularly relevant for anyone born around the twelfth of January, April, July, and October, and those with planets and points around 21 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn).
The intensity continues into tomorrow when there are three challenging lunar aspects including Moon becoming disharmonious to Mars and Pluto. After late tomorrow afternoon, the aspects turn more to the plus side.
Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, at 27 degrees Sagittarius benefits anyone born around the eighteenth of any month, especially December, and anyone with planets and points at 27 degrees of any sign.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 21.5 degrees Aries is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the twelfth of January, July, September, October, and November and anyone with planets or points at 21 degrees of Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, approaching 18 degrees Sagittarius, brings opportunities for anyone born around the ninth of any month, especially December, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 18 degrees.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn at 15 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the sixth of April, June, July, August, and October and for anyone with points or planets around 15 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Friday, February 01
10:19 PM - * (Mars in Aries 90 Pluto in Capricorn) this significant aspect is covered at the top of this newsletter.
Saturday, February 02
01:56 AM + - (Moon in Capricorn 00 Saturn in Capricorn) this once a month heavy-duty lunar aspect can manifest both positively and negatively. It provides an atmosphere for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities, especially involving business and professional matters because Capricorn is involved. However, this aspect can also bring harsh realities about your family and the females in your life. People with this lunar aspect are responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be somber, pessimistic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
03:13 PM + - (Moon in Capricorn 00 Pluto in Capricorn) this once a month powerful lunar aspect symbolizes females who are influential, productive, and psychic. However, this aspect also increases the possibilities for subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors are often not realized until later.
04:12 PM - (Moon in Capricorn 90 Mars in Aries) intensifies interpersonal situations and is likely to bring impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions, especially involving females. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that upsets and volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
06:41 PM + * (Venus in Sagittarius 120 Uranus in Aries) this aspect, in effect this past week, increases the possibilities for new adventures with love and art. A person with this aspect in their horoscope tends to be independent and excitable with their love life and creative with a wide range of artistic talents.
Sunday, February 03
01:35 AM + (Moon in Capricorn 180 Node in Cancer) favors connecting with people such as networking and reaching out to others because it enhances social interactions as well as any alliances with groups large and small.
05:52 AM - (Moon in Capricorn 90 Uranus in Aries) enhances willfulness and instincts but also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, willfulness, restlessness, excitability, volatility, and emotionally charged situations, especially involving females.
06:33 AM Moon in Capricorn Void until 08:02 AM when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.
02:38 PM + (Moon in Aquarius 45 Jupiter in Sagittarius) favors interpersonal situations and working with the public because this lunar aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
04:54 PM + * (Mercury in Aquarius 60 Jupiter in Sagittarius) this terrific aspect, in effect this past week, can bring a wealth of ideas, intellectual success, and the gift of speech. It is associated with the writer, scientist, and trial attorney. People with this aspect are open-minded, optimistic, and want to broaden their experiences. They have writing, teaching, language skills, and an ability to grasp the big picture.
05:29 PM * (Venus enters Capricorn) where it remains until March 01 when it enters the next sign, Aquarius. Venus in Capricorn brings blessings and benefits to Capricorn, and a lesser degree to the other earth signs (Taurus and Virgo) as well as the house in your horoscope ruled by Capricorn.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
