Three Fine Days
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
The aspect descriptions in these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, they provide the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The next three days are harmonious in the sky. There is one plus * factor, and there are no significant negative factors. This does not mean everything will be fine and dandy for you and the world. It does say this is a favorable period for right timing (picking the best times to start or begin something new) if your horoscope is also favorable now.
Moon in Pisces
Moon in Pisces from this afternoon until early Saturday morning favors Pisces and anyone's involvement with Pisces–related activities such as helping the needy and less fortunate; music, dance, painting, movies, entertainment, theater, film, drama, poetry, fiction, and photography; and meditation, healing, and other spiritually-related activities.
An Odd Couple
With Sun in Capricorn and Moon in Pisces, we have two signs which are about as opposite and different as two signs can be. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn which is earthbound and represents focus, responsibilities, and the reality of everyday life. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and Neptune which are sky bound and represent expansion, diffusion, and transcendence.
Capricorn strives for worldly accomplishments while Pisces wants more inner world understanding. Capricorn is active and determined to control matters and accomplish its goals while Pisces is more passive and accepting of the way things are.
Capricorn represents cement (set and hard). Practical and realistic, Capricorn deals effectively with the demands and responsibilities of the workplace and everyday life with a serious and sometimes cynical attitude toward life. Pisces represents oceans and seas (fluid and boundless). Sensitive, imaginative, and empathic, Pisces is a dreamer at heart. It intuitively knows there’s much more to life than what can be measured in material and factual terms.
However, these two signs offer much to each other and can get along if they are willing to understand, appreciate, and blend the differences between them. Both signs are more sensitive and introvert than most other signs. They have reserved and introspective qualities which can add much depth to their relationship.
Good careers for this sign combination are any management and business activities (Capricorn) related to the arts, entertainment, and creativity (Pisces). Also, any work combining Capricorn’s administrative abilities with the benevolent inclinations of Pisces.

11:52 AM Moon in Aquarius Void until 02:43 PM when it enters the water sign Pisces where it remains until early Saturday morning when it enters the next sign, Aries.
08:09 PM + (Moon in Pisces 90 Venus in Sagittarius) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
Thursday, January 10
06:48 PM + (Moon in Pisces 90 Jupiter in Sagittarius) favors interpersonal situations and working with the public because it increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, shared feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
07:47 PM + (Moon in Pisces 00 Neptune in Pisces) this once a month lunar aspect brings highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations, and is better suited for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
Friday, January 11
06:38 AM + * (Sun in Capricorn 00 Pluto in Capricorn) this significant once-a-year aspect in effect this past week symbolizes men with power and authority. If this aspect is in your horoscope, you are likely to have a deep belief in your powers and abilities to survive any change and emerge victoriously from any difficulty. You have tremendous inner resources and strength. Intense, strong-willed, and zealous, you pursue your desires and goals with complete dedication and singleness of purpose and may be somewhat compulsive, even fanatical at times. You may have little respect for people who are weaker and do not confront life and fulfill their destiny.
08:50 PM + (Moon in Pisces 150 Node in Cancer) favors reaching out to others and networking because this lunar aspect enhances social interactions as well as any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
Saturday, January 12
12:08 AM + (Moon in Pisces 00 Chiron in Pisces) this once a month lunar aspect increases the possibilities for healing relationships and families.
12:08 AM Moon in Pisces Void until 03:17 AM when it enters the next sign, Aries.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
