It’s a busy weekend in the sky. The aspects are strong and mostly positive, and there are several * factors including a solar eclipse, Mercury changing signs, and Uranus turning direct. This newsletter covers these and other relevant factors.
Moon in Capricorn from this afternoon until early Monday morning favors Capricorn and any planets and points in your horoscope in Capricorn. Solar Eclipses
This Saturday at 08:28 PM there is a New Moon at 15.5 degrees Capricorn which is also a partial solar eclipse. For thousands of years, astrologers and the general population have been fascinated with eclipses. Every culture has myths, legends, and stories in their lore related to eclipses.
Traditionally, eclipses are assumed to be ominous. They portend disasters and catastrophes because there are usually more significant events and disruptions than usual for the world at large. But this is not always the case. This eclipse with no disharmonious aspects to it means what you start will more likely succeed depending on your intentions and what’s occurring in your horoscope.
During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon wholly or partially obscures the Sun across the earth’s surface. As seen from earth, the light of the Sun blocked by the Moon causes the day to appear as night for as long as the eclipse lasts. During these minutes, animals and plants behave as if the day has ended and night has begun, and over a more extended period.
Eclipses are significant for everyone depending on where they are placed. In this case, look to 15.5 degrees Capricorn in your horoscope. This position and any aspects from that point to planets in your horoscope are relevant.
Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, at 28 degrees Scorpio benefits anyone born around the nineteenth of any month, especially November, and anyone with planets and points at 28 degrees of any sign.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 03 degrees Aries is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the twenty-fourth of June, August, September, October, and December and anyone with planets or points at 03 degrees of Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 13 degrees Sagittarius, brings opportunities for anyone born around the fourth of any month, especially December, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 13 degrees.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn at 12 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the third of April, June, July, August, and October and for anyone with points or planets around 12 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

It increases the possibilities for subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles, although these factors are often not realized until later.
03:26 PM * (Uranus in Aries goes direct at 28.5 degrees) Uranus has been retrograde since August 07 when it changed directions relative to the earth at 02.5 degrees Taurus. This means that for the last five months, Uranus has been creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born late in Aries, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn as well as those born early in Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. As reported in my newsletters over the years, challenging Uranus aspects increase the possibilities for tensions, surprises, turmoil, eruptions, volatility, instability, and highly charged situations.

Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
