Two Special Days
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
The aspect descriptions in these newsletters provide the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The next two days are special because three terrific plus * factors occur within a short period of time which is unusual. Today Sun aligns with Uranus, and Friday Venus aligns with Neptune and Mercury aligns with Jupiter. This newsletter covers these aspects and the other relevant factors for the next two days including the Winter Solstice on Friday.
Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, at 13 degrees Scorpio benefits anyone born around the end of any month, especially October, and anyone with planets and points at 13 degrees of any sign.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 22 degrees Pisces is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone with planets or points at 22 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 09 degrees Sagittarius, brings opportunities for anyone born late in any month, especially November, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 09 degrees.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn at 10 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the end of March, May, June, July, September, and December and for anyone with points or planets around 10 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Thursday, December 20
09:34 AM Moon enters Gemini which favors Gemini and any points and planets you have in Gemini until late Saturday morning when Moon enters the next sign, Cancer.
11:21 AM + * (Sun in Sagittarius 120 Uranus in Aries) in effect this past week, this solar aspect increases the possibilities for originality, creativity, and breakthroughs especially with science and technology. People with this aspect have a low tolerance for boredom and following the rules, but they have more freedom and latitude in their lives than most people by discovering and experimenting with new ideas and possibilities.
Friday, December 21
12:41 AM + (Moon in Gemini 180 Mercury in Sagittarius) favors reflection, writing, and communication because this lunar aspect creates a more active exchange between the conscious and unconscious minds.
01:35 AM + (Moon in Gemini 150 Jupiter in Sagittarius) favors family matters, shared feelings, and being around people because this aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, and uplifting emotional support.
02:40 AM - (Moon in Gemini 150 Saturn in Capricorn) can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be lonely, melancholic, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
08:45 AM + (Moon in Gemini 150 Venus in Scorpio) favors sharing and social interactions because this lunar aspect fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
08:58 AM - (Moon in Gemini 90 Neptune in Pisces) increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
12:11 PM + * (Venus in Scorpio 120 Neptune in Pisces) in effect this past week, this lovely aspect occurs about twice a year and is related to the highest manifestation of personal and spiritual love. People with this aspect have a deep and far-reaching capacity for love and emotional rapport. They have high ideals and an excellent receptivity for beauty, art, and music. If you are on a date or you meet someone new around this day, love may be “in the air.” Remember to keep your feet on the ground. Venus and Neptune represent all that’s good about love and life, but the hopes, dreams, idealism, and fantasies they bring are often hard to realize.
12:36 PM + * (Mercury in Sagittarius 00 Jupiter in Sagittarius) this terrific aspect occurs once a year and has been in effect this past week. It can bring a wealth of ideas, intellectual success, and the gift of speech and is related to the writer, scientist, and trial attorney. People with this aspect are open-minded, optimistic, and want to broaden their experiences. They have writing, teaching, language skills, and an ability to grasp the big picture.
05:22 PM * (Sun enters Capricorn) marking the arrival of the Winter Solstice, the official start of winter in the Northern Hemisphere and summer in the Southern Hemisphere. The shift from Sagittarius to Capricorn offers an opportunity to be more Capricorn-like during the next 30 days: disciplined, organized, responsible, resourceful, sacrificing, patient, economical, practical, productive, achieving, task-oriented, and focused on longer-range goals.
07:30 PM - (Moon in Gemini 150 Pluto in Capricorn) can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving females and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors are often not fully realized until later.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
