Searching Far & Wide
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
As with recent newsletters, the next few days are relatively light and calm in the sky. There are few factors to consider, and none of them are major.
There are, though, three lunar clusters you should be aware. First, this evening two lovely lunar aspects are close together. Second, late Friday morning two lunar aspects could create challenges more on an emotional level. Third, mid-Saturday afternoon has two lunar aspects favoring interpersonal situations.
Recall that the aspect descriptions in these newsletters provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example. Moreover, when two or more aspects occur close together (a cluster), there is often an important theme to be aware of.
Moon in Pisces
Moon in Pisces from this morning until Saturday evening favors any Pisces–related activity such as helping the needy and less fortunate, being involved with social services and charity work; music, dance, painting, movies, entertainment, theater, film, drama, poetry, fiction, and photography; and meditation, healing, and other spiritually-related activities.
Sagittarius & Pisces
With Sun in Sagittarius and Moon in Pisces, it’s good to know more about Sagittarius and Pisces. For starts, both signs are both ruled Jupiter which means they are essentially idealistic, generous, open-minded, and spiritually oriented. No two signs are more related to seeking and searching for life’s answers and meaning, outside and within.
There are though differences you should know about if Sagittarius and Pisces are emphasized in your horoscope, if your ninth and twelfth houses are active, or you are in a Sagittarius-Pisces relationship.
Sagittarius is more open, confident and optimistic. It likes to think big-picture and to take chances. It broadens its life with learning experiences, getting out in nature, and exploring other cultures. Pisces is subtler, introvert, receptive, and passive. It seeks the inner world of reflection and meditation with a proclivity toward music, theater, dance, and the arts.
Sagittarius is intellectual and intuitive and is related to learning, scholarship, professors, academics, and publishing. Pisces is more about psychic sensitivities and answers from within. Sagittarius is gurus, priests, religions, ethics, and principles while Pisces is about seeking perfection by connecting with the inner world of contemplation, reflection, and meditation.
All these mystical, psychic, and intuitive explorations need to be grounded with real-life experiences. The boundaries of the egos can get lost in the urges to merge with the universe. For example, both signs are more carefree than other sign combinations with a dislike for pettiness and limitations such as budgets, diets, schedules, and lists of things to do. More of a balance is needed by attending to the practicalities of everyday life and the nitty-gritty demands of work and health.

Thursday, December 13
07:39 AM Moon entered Pisces which favors Pisces for the next three days as well as any points and planets you have in Pisces.
08:38 AM + (Moon in Pisces 90 Mercury in Sagittarius) favors reflection, writing, and communication because this lunar aspect creates a more active exchange between the conscious and unconscious minds.
11:09 PM + (Moon in Pisces 120 Venus in Scorpio) favors sharing and social interactions because this lunar aspect fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
11:43 PM + (Moon in Pisces 90 Jupiter in Sagittarius) favors family matters, being around people, and sharing your feelings because this aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, and uplifting emotional support.
Friday, December 14
11:34 AM + - (Moon in Pisces 00 Neptune in Pisces) this once a month lunar aspect brings opportunities for right brain activities such as healing, prayer, spirituality, mysticism, meditation, psychic phenomena, daydreaming, imagination, creativity, music, art, and other creative endeavors. This aspect also increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. So, in the end, this period may be better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
11:37 AM - (Moon in Pisces 45 Uranus in Aries) enhances instincts and willfulness but also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, and emotionally charged situations.
09:18 PM + - (Moon in Pisces 00 Mars in Pisces) this once a month lunar aspect can prompt you to be more bold and direct and inspired by Pisces imagination, but can also bring impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, heightened emotions, and forceful actions.
Saturday, December 15
06:49 AM - (Moon in Pisces 90 Sun in Sagittarius) a Quarter Moon described at the start of this newsletter where there is a description of the differences between Sagittarius and Pisces.
02:22 PM + (Moon in Pisces 120 Node in Cancer) favors networking and reaching out to others because this aspect enhances social interactions as well as any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
03:38 PM + (Moon in Pisces 00 Chiron in Pisces) this once a month symbolizes caring women and special opportunities for healing relationships and families.
03:38 PM Moon in Pisces Void until 07:43 PM when it enters the next sign, Aries.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
