Freedom & Independence
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
As with my last newsletter, the next few days are relatively light and calm in the sky compared to most other newsletters. There are few factors to consider, and none of them are major. All this does not mean your life will be calm and stress-free. In fact, this may be a difficult period for you because challenging aspects dominate your horoscope now.
Moon in Aquarius from Monday evening until Thursday morning favors any Aquarius-related activity such as analyzing, observing, questioning, experimenting, investigating, inventing, and reforming; exploring what’s new, novel, unusual, progressive, and nonconforming; science, engineering, high-tech, computers, electronics, inventions, and aviation; and working with clubs, organizations, and special interest groups for equality, democracy, public good, human rights, and philanthropy.
Sagittarius & Aquarius
With Sun in Sagittarius and Moon in Aquarius, we have a bright and intelligent sign combination. Most clients with this emphasis are well educated and have successful careers related to academics, scholarship, technology, science, engineering, consulting, broadcasting, media, and law. Sagittarius Aquarius is also an excellent combination for astrology and metaphysics.
People with a Sagittarius Aquarius emphasis are typically outgoing and friendly but tend to be a bit detached and non-sentimental. They need their “space” and enjoy a busy lifestyle which keeps them on the go. They like to travel, meet new people, and keep up with current events. They stay abreast with the trends in fashion, music, arts, literature, science, and politics.
More than any other two signs, Sagittarius and Aquarius value their freedom and independence. They are progressive, open-minded, farsighted, and futuristic. Not stuck in traditions and outdated theories, they push us forward with their involvements with human rights, progressive legislation, and humanitarian causes. But with the causes they are involved with and the strong values and opinions they express, they are prone to grand visions and exaggerated hopes which often need to be tempered with more realistic and concrete plans which signs like Virgo and Capricorn can provide.

Monday, December 10
06:39 PM Moon entered Aquarius which favors Aquarius for the next three days as well as any points and planets you have in Aquarius.
Tuesday, December 11
06:00 AM + (Moon in Aquarius 90 Venus in Scorpio) favors sharing and social interactions because this lunar aspect fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
06:37 AM + - * (Mercury in Scorpio 150 Uranus in Aries) in effect the past few days, this aspect is related to quick minds and sudden insights. People with this aspect can be creative, original, brilliant, and inventive but at times their minds dance from one subject to the next so rapidly that they cannot thoroughly take in and digest any of them. They get bored and restless, and often intellectually rebel against too much tedium. They can be abrupt and impatient with people who plan and plod along because they want everything to move along quickly and spontaneously.
Wednesday, December 12
12:36 PM + * (Moon in Aquarius 60 Sun in Sagittarius) this solar-lunar combination is described at the top of this newsletter.
06:42 PM * (Mercury moves from Scorpio to Sagittarius) where it remains until January 04 when it enters the next sign Capricorn. Mercury in Sagittarius brings intellectual benefits to Sagittarius and the house in your horoscope ruled by Sagittarius.
Thursday, December 13
02:01 AM (Moon in Aquarius 150 Node in Cancer) favors networking and reaching out to others because this aspect enhances social interactions as well as any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
05:19 AM Moon in Aquarius Void until 07:39 AM when it enters the next sign, Pisces.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in th this adese newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
