Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

There are no major disruptive aspects this weekend. The big news is Neptune going direct today as explained in this newsletter. Also, keep in mind that late last week Mars entered Pisces, Venus turned direct, Mercury turned retrograde, and this past Thursday Sun entered Sagittarius for the coming month.

With Sun in Sagittarius, it’s a good time to focus on developing the positive qualities of Sagittarius: flexible and versatile, friendly and gregarious, lively and cheerful, quick and sharp, clever and witty, and overall, being more positive, hopeful, and optimistic than dire, cynical, and melancholic.

Sun Sign Updates

Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, at 26.5 degrees Libra benefits anyone born around the seventeenth of any month, especially October, and anyone with planets and points at 27 degrees.

Mars, the planet of effort and desire, now at 5.5 degrees Pisces is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the twenty-sixth of February, May, August, September, October, and November and for anyone with planets or points at 06 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 3.5 degrees Sagittarius, brings opportunities for anyone born around the twenty-fourth of any month, especially November, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 04 degrees.

Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn approaching 07 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the twenty-eighth of March, May, June, July, September, and December and for anyone with points or planets around 07 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.

Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should know that Uranus retrograde at 29 degrees Aries is likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born at the very end of Aries, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Capricorn as well as for anyone with planets and points around 29 degrees of the above signs.

Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces should know that Neptune stationary at 13.5 degrees Pisces is likely bringing confusion, deception, and even debilitating situations for anyone born around the fourth of March, June, August, September, October, and December as well as for anyone with planets and points around 14 degrees of the above signs.

Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Pluto, the planet of transformation and new beginnings at 19.5 degrees Capricorn, is likely producing significant changes for those born around the tenth of January, April, June, July, August, and October, and for anyone with planets or points around 20 degrees of the above signs.

Saturday, November 24

08:03 PM + (Moon in Gemini 120 Venus in Libra) favors sharing and social interactions because this lunar aspect fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

08:08 PM * (Neptune turns direct at 13.5 degrees Pisces) Neptune travels around the zodiac every 160 years which means that if you live to be 80, Neptune will have moved halfway around your horoscope, and as a result, will have aspected every planet and point in your chart by square and opposition at least once.

Squares and oppositions are challenging aspects, and when Neptune makes a challenging aspect to your horoscope, there is likely to be weakness, disorientation, disillusionment, and confusion which partially explains why we all have ups and downs in life. We all experience these types of feelings at some time as the inevitable influences of the outer planets make their way around our horoscope.

Unfortunately, some people have challenging Neptune aspects in their birth chart which means they encounter such feelings daily. They are more likely to have many false dreams and errors in judgment. And there are those with favorable Neptune aspects which can bring them a life filled with magic, creativity, and inspiration.

What’s relevant now is that Neptune, currently stationary at 13.5 degrees Pisces, is almost halfway through its 14-year journey through Pisces. Stationary positions are important because the effects of the planets can last for months versus the usual week or so for most transiting planets.

As a result, anyone born around the fourth of March, June, August, September, October, and December is being challenged by possible confusion, deception, uncertainty, and even debilitating situations. Neptune stationary is also relevant for anyone with planets or points around 13.5 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Sagittarius.

On the other, Neptune’s position has been and will be creating significant opportunities for creativity, inspiration, and spiritual growth for anyone born around the fourth of March, July, and November and for anyone with planets or points around 13.5 degrees of the water signs, Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

Contact me for a Special Report which will identify and explain in detail how the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) are bringing you unique challenges and opportunities, some of which are once-in-a-lifetime.

10:16 PM + (Moon in Gemini 90 Chiron in Pisces) this twice a month lunar aspect symbolizes caring women and special opportunities for healing relationships and families.

Sunday, November 25

12:31 AM Moon in Gemini Void until 01:37 AM when it enters the next sign, Cancer.

06:52 AM - (Moon in Cancer 150 Sun in Sagittarius) the differences between Cancer and Sagittarius explain below are relevant until Moon enters Leo early Tuesday morning.

Sagittarius is more open, direct, enthusiastic, confident, and optimistic. It wants to get out there, take chances and have direct learning experiences. There is a proclivity toward promotion, travel, athletics, and the outdoors. Cancer is the sensitive introvert seeking secure emotional attachments. It holds on to what is safe and secure. It is more comfortable being around what is familiar such as their home and family.

Sagittarius stretches the insecurities and protective bands of Cancer, and Cancer has many emotional ropes and attachments for Sagittarius to cope with. The clinging nature of Cancer can frustrate the freedom and expressive nature of Sagittarius, and the uninhibited intellectual directness of Sagittarius can hurt Cancer’s sensitive and protective nature.

07:54 AM + (Moon in Cancer 150 Jupiter in Sagittarius) favors being around people and sharing your feelings because this aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive attitudes, and uplifting emotional support.

11:46 AM + (Moon in Cancer 120 Mars in Pisces) provides an active time to trust your instincts with this aspect involving the water signs Cancer in Pisces, and to be bold and direct with this aspect involving Mars.

01:41 PM + (Moon in Cancer 150 Mercury in Sagittarius) favors reflection, writing, and communication because this lunar aspect creates a more active exchange between the conscious and unconscious minds.

01:43 PM - (Moon in Cancer 180 Saturn Capricorn) can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be lonely, melancholic, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.

Guidelines for Using This Information

I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.

For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.

The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.

The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.

The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.

During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
