With the Sun a third of the way through Scorpio and Moon in Virgo from early this morning until Sunday morning, it’s a good time to focus on researching and getting things done.
Scorpio-Virgo is a deeper and more inwardly oriented sign combination which can be quite focused, thorough, discerning, and precise. Virgo is related to analytical and discriminating thinking with an inclination toward routine and detail work. Scorpio is related to depth and research with a bent toward medicine and finances.
People with Scorpio and Virgo emphasized in their horoscopes (or with a six-eight house emphasis) are not flashy or attention gathering, but they can be counted on to get the job done. They are quite capable and productive with their work and duties and are drawn to jobs and careers that require exact thinking and analysis.
For these reasons, many of my clients with a Scorpio-Virgo emphasis work in these fields: repairs and problem solving, technical and computer work, accounting and bookkeeping, taxes and insurance, statistics and mathematics, engineering and research work, medicine and surgery, environmental and health safety, and the sciences particularly chemistry, physics, biology, biochemistry, and pharmacology.
Right Timing
The stars are now more on the plus side. There are no major – factors and today there are four + lunar aspects. Early Saturday morning there are two - lunar aspects close together, and early Sunday morning there are two + lunar aspects close together. You may want to plan your activities and decisions according to these and other factors keeping in mind that lunar (Moon) aspects are in effect for hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given.
Also, with regards to right timing, any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started now will have the qualities and characteristics of the Scorpio-Virgo descriptions listed above.
Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, retrograde at 29 degrees Libra is benefitting anyone born around the twentieth of any month, especially October, and anyone with planets and points at 29 degrees.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 22 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the thirteenth of February, May, July, August, September, and November and for anyone with planets or points at 22 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 28.5 degrees Scorpio, brings opportunities for anyone born around the twentieth of any month, especially November, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 28 degrees.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn almost at 05 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the twenty-fifth of March, May, June, July, September, and December and for anyone with points or planets around 05 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should know that Uranus retrograde at 00 degrees Taurus is likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born early in these signs as well as for anyone with planets and points around 00 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces should know that Neptune retrograde at 14 degrees Pisces is likely bringing confusion, deception, and even debilitating situations for anyone born around the fifth of March, June, August, September, October, and December as well as for anyone with planets and points around 14 degrees of the above signs.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Pluto, the planet of transformation and new beginnings at 19 degrees Capricorn, is likely producing significant changes for those born around the tenth of January, April, June, July, August, and October, and for anyone with planets or points around 19 degrees of the above signs.

01:21 AM - (Moon in Virgo 180 Neptune in Pisces) increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
03:35 AM - (Moon in Virgo 135 Uranus in Taurus) enhances instincts and willfulness, but can also bring nervousness, anxiety, upsets, emotional tensions, strained nerves, craving sensations, restlessness, excitability, and emotionally charged situations.
10:14 AM + (Moon in Virgo 120 Pluto in Capricorn) symbolizes females who are influential, productive, and psychic, and increases the possibilities for practicality and solid business plans as well as deeper feelings and psychic impressions.
02:16 PM + * (Venus in Libra 150 Chiron in Pisces) is in effect the past few days and favors relationships and financial matters. A person with this aspect tends to be lucky, relaxed, and content. They benefit greatly from sharing with people.
04:41 PM - (Moon in Virgo 150 Mars in Aquarius) intensifies any situation. There is more likely to be impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.

02:26 AM + (Moon Virgo 60 Jupiter in Scorpio) heightens the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, uplifting feelings, and emotional support.

Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start, or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
