Calmer Skies
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
“The Dow plunged 831 points as interest rate jitters persist. The Wall Street bull got bloodied and battered Wednesday as the stock market suffered its biggest sell-off since February. Fears are rising.”
This USA Today quote is relevant for my special Forecast Workshop this Saturday which will cover the stock market and other hot topics such as the midterm elections and Trump’s future. Click here for details.
Despite Hurricane Michael and the stock market, the stars are calmer the next three days than they have been the last three days as reported in my previous newsletter, A Warning.
Moon in Sagittarius from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon favors Sagittarius and the other two fire-signs, Aries and Leo, as well as anyone’s involvement with Sagittarius-related activities such as sports, athletics, and outdoor activities; books, knowledge, and academics; promotion, advertising, and marketing; foreign and international matters; and merely feeling more positive and optimistic.
Sun Sign Updates
Scorpio continues to receive blessings with Mercury and the two benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter, currently in Scorpio. This planetary focus also benefits any planets and points you have in Scorpio (even if your sun sign is not Scorpio) as well as the house in your horoscope ruled by Scorpio.
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, retrograde at 9.5 degrees Scorpio is benefitting anyone born around the first of any month, especially November, and anyone with planets and points at 09 degrees.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 11 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the first of February, May, July, August, September, and November and for anyone with planets or points at 11 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 24.5 degrees Scorpio, brings opportunities for anyone born around the fifteenth of any month, especially November, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 24 to 25 degrees.
Friday, October 12
05:22 AM Moon enters Sagittarius where it remains until Sunday afternoon when it enters the next sign, Capricorn.
07:46 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 150 Uranus in Taurus) enhances instincts and willfulness but also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, emotional tensions, strained nerves, craving sensations, restlessness, excitability, and emotionally charged situations.
12:55 PM - (Moon in Sagittarius 45 Pluto in Capricorn) can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving women and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors often not realized till later.
Saturday, October 13
08:32 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 90 Neptune in Pisces) increase the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
Sunday, October 14
09:13 AM - (Moon in Sagittarius 45 Mars in Aquarius) can intensify any situation, and there it is more likely to be impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
Note: the four lunar aspects above (Moon-Uranus, Moon-Pluto, Moon-Neptune, and Moon-Mars) are all challenging but recall that lunar aspects are not major influences because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given. They are though, still relevant for right timing.
01:39 PM - (Moon in Sagittarius 90 Chiron in Pisces) symbolizes caring women and special opportunities for healing relationships, and families.
01:39 PM Moon Void until 03:16 PM when it enters the next sign, Capricorn.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
