With Moon in Scorpio from early this morning until Friday morning, the stars are more intense than usual, and it's not because the Moon is in Scorpio which typically does intensify matters.
Today there are two challenging * factors and two challenging lunar aspects. There are also three lovely lunar aspects involving Mercury, Venus, and Node. Moreover, on Friday the aspect Sun 90 Pluto peaks which typically creates complications and extremes including the weather, politics, finances, and military conflicts.
These challenges do not create an optimum period for right timing, that is, choosing a good time to start a trip, business, or any other important event. They also increase the possibilities for more challenges than usual including natural disasters such as Hurricane Michael.

The following astrological factors are relevant.
Today a once a year aspect peaks (Mercury 180 Uranus). Mercury represents the wind and Uranus is electric and creates upsets and disruptions. Hence, this aspect is related to high winds, electrical storms, tornadoes, and hurricanes.
Friday a twice a year aspect peaks (Sun 90 Pluto). When Pluto, the planet of transformation and destruction, makes a discordant aspect with any planet, especially the Sun, there are typically significant changes and events which can even be destructive.
Sun Sign Updates
Scorpio continues to receive blessings with Mercury and the two benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter, currently in Scorpio. This planetary focus also benefits any planets and points you have in Scorpio (even if you are not a Scorpio sun sign) as well as the house in your horoscope ruled by Scorpio.
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, retrograde at 10 degrees Scorpio is benefitting anyone born around the second of any month, especially November, and anyone with planets and points at 11 degrees.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 10 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the thirty first of January, April, June, July, August, and October and for anyone with planets or points at 10 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 24 degrees Scorpio, brings opportunities for anyone born around the fourteenth of any month, especially November, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 22 to 23 degrees.

12:09 AM Moon enters Scorpio where it remains until Friday morning when it enters the next sign, Sagittarius.
12:35 AM + (Moon in Scorpio 00 Mercury in Scorpio) this once a month lunar aspect
creates a more active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds which favors reflection, communication, discussions, and writing.
02:05 AM - (Moon in Scorpio 180 Uranus in Taurus) this intense lunar aspect enhances instincts and willfulness but also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, emotional tensions, strained nerves, craving sensations, restlessness, excitability, and emotionally charged situations.
05:04 AM + (Moon in Scorpio 90 Node in Leo) favors reaching out to others and networking because this aspect is related to networking and it enhances social interactions as well as any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
01:35 PM + - * (Mercury in Scorpio 180 Uranus in Taurus) in effect the past few days, this aspect can bring quick minds and sudden insights. People with this aspect can be creative, original, brilliant, and inventive, but at times their minds dance from one subject to the next so rapidly that they cannot thoroughly take in and digest any of them. They get bored and restless, and often intellectually rebel against too much tedium. They can be abrupt and impatient with people who plan and plod along because they want everything to move along quickly and spontaneously.
06:02 PM - (Moon in Scorpio 90 Mars in Aquarius) intensifies any situation. There is more likely to be impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
06:15 PM + (Moon in Scorpio 00 Venus in Scorpio) this lovely once a month lunar aspect fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
10:29 PM + - * (Venus in Scorpio 90 Mars in Aquarius) in effect the past few days, the effects of this aspect can go either way with the planet of love and art (Venus) aspecting the planet of energy and sex (Mars). People with this aspect can be quite passionate, expressive, and creative, but can also have problems with spending and curbing their desires resulting in financial and romantic problems.

01:11 AM + (Moon in Scorpio 120 Neptune in Pisces) is a plus for right brain activities such as healing, prayer, spirituality, mysticism, meditation, psychic phenomena, daydreaming, imagination, creativity, music, art, and other creative endeavors.
08:55 AM - (Moon in Scorpio 45 Saturn Capricorn) can create issues, worries, concerns, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be melancholic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
12:45 PM + * (Mercury in Scorpio 90 Node in Leo) is in effect the past few days and is related to sharing and exchanging information with others. People with this aspect find it easy to express themselves through writing, teaching, recording, transcribing, negotiating, mediating, and communication. They are sociable and are inclined to give and receive stimulating ideas and form associations in the pursuit of joint interests.
07:12 PM + (Moon in Scorpio 00 Jupiter in Scorpio) this lovely once a month lunar aspect increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
Friday, October 12
12:10 AM - * (Sun in Libra 90 Pluto in Capricorn) this twice a year solar aspect has been in effect this past week and is related to manipulation, hidden motives, fanaticism, arrogance, subversion, power struggles, and political maneuvering, especially involving men. This aspect also increases the possibilities for extremes with the weather, politics, finances, and military conflicts, for example. There are higher risks with all the issues in Washington and all the conflicts around the world.
04:32 AM + (Moon in Scorpio 120 Chiron in Pisces) symbolizes caring women and special opportunities for healing relationships, and families.
04:32 AM Moon Void until 05:22 AM when it enters the next sign, Sagittarius.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
