Weekend Stars
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
With Moon in Virgo from this evening until Sunday evening, the stars continue to be more on the plus side than not. Sunday afternoon and evening are pleasant with two + lunar aspects.
There is though one * factor to be aware of (Sun-Neptune peaking on Sunday) and Saturday there are three challenging lunar aspects in a row as noted in this newsletter.
Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, sitting stationary at 11 degrees Scorpio is benefitting anyone born around the second of any month, especially November, and anyone with planets and points at 11 degrees.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 08 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the twenty-ninth of January, April, June, July, August, and October and for anyone with planets or points at 08 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 23 degrees Scorpio, brings opportunities for anyone born around the fourteenth of any month, especially November, and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 23 degrees.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn at 03 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the twenty-fourth of March, May, June, July, September, and December and for anyone with points or planets around 03 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should know that Uranus retrograde at 01 degrees Taurus is likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born early in these signs as well as for anyone with planets and points around 01 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces should know that Neptune retrograde at 14 degrees Pisces is likely bringing confusion, deception, and even debilitating situations for anyone born around the fifth of March, June, August, September, October, and December as well as for anyone with planets and points around 14 degrees of the above signs.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Pluto, the planet of transformation and new beginnings at 19 degrees Capricorn, is likely producing significant changes for those born around the tenth of January, April, June, July, August, and October, and for anyone with planets or points around 19 degrees of the above signs.
Friday, October 05
03:04 PM * (Venus turns retrograde at 11 degrees Scorpio) this important factor was covered in my last newsletter, Venus Turns Retrograde.
07:19 PM Moon enters Virgo where it remains until Sunday evening when it enters the next sign, Libra.
09:26 PM + (Moon in Virgo 120 Uranus in Taurus) brings opportunities for instincts, intuition, and forward-looking aspirations especially regarding practical and business matters.
Saturday, October 06
12:43 AM + (Moon in Virgo 120 Saturn Capricorn) provides an atmosphere for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities, especially involving business and professional matters.
Note: the two favorable lunar aspects above (Moon-Uranus and Moon-Saturn) occur close together and have similar themes involving the earth signs (Taurus Virgo Capricorn).
08:58 AM - (Moon in Virgo 150 Mars in Aquarius) intensifies any situation. There is likely to be impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
07:04 PM - (Moon in Virgo 180 Neptune in Pisces) increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
10:15 PM - (Moon in Virgo 135 Uranus in Taurus) enhances instincts and willfulness, but also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, emotional tensions, strained nerves, craving sensations, restlessness, excitability, and emotionally charged situations.
Note: the three lunar aspects above (Moon-Mars, Moon-Neptune, and Moon-Uranus) are challenging, and two of them occur within a short period.
Sunday, October 07
02:27 AM + (Moon Virgo 120 Pluto in Capricorn) symbolizes females who are influential, productive, and psychic, and increases the possibilities for practicality and solid business plans as well as deeper feelings and psychic impressions.
11:17 AM - * (Sun in Libra 150 Neptune in Pisces) in effect this past week, brings the potential for strange and peculiar things happening with men. Due to the influence of a challenging aspect involving Neptune, men can be frail, moody, naive, overly sensitive, and susceptible to escapism and self-deception.
On the other hand, those with a Sun-Neptune aspect in their horoscope are highly sensitive and receptive to impressions. They have an active imagination and can have an interest in mysticism, spirituality, dreams, and psychic experiences. They are capable of sympathy and compassion for others as well as exceptional skills in music, art, and other creative endeavors.
02:05 PM + (Moon in Virgo 45 Venus in Scorpio) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
08:16 PM + (Moon in Virgo 180 Chiron in Pisces) brings to the forefront caring women and special opportunities for healing relationships, and families.
08:16 PM Moon in Virgo Void until 09:09 PM when it enters the next sign, Libra.
Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
