Today’s Senate Hearings

Anticipations are rising for today’s high-stakes Senate panel hearings regarding the alleged sexual misconduct of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, born February 12, 1965 in Washington, D.C. (birth time unknown).
His Senate hearings began on September 04 with Moon 180 Saturn in effect. My newsletter for that day stated, “this challenging lunar aspect can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females.” Lunar aspects typically relate to females.
This morning is busy in the sky with several aspects in effect including three challenging lunar aspects peaking at 06:10 AM, 08:58 AM, and 11:50 AM. For descriptions of these aspects, check Thursday in this newsletter.
Smoother After This Morning
The past week has been challenging in the sky as reported with the alerts given in my last two newsletters, “Heads Up” and “Full Moon”. After this morning, the stars are more harmonious for the next few days which increases the opportunities for right timing, that is, being able to initiate successfully new decisions, ventures, and projects. Moon in Taurus
With Moon in Taurus from this morning until Saturday morning, Taurus is more in favor as are any planets and points in your horoscope in Taurus. Moon in Taurus also favors your involvement with any Taurus-related activity such as work requiring patient, persistent, and steady efforts; money, possessions, ownership, and property; gardening and landscaping; and artistic pursuits such as singing, painting, and designing.
Taurus Libra
With Moon in Taurus and Sun in Libra, we have a Sun-Moon combination that is more pleasant and easy going than other sign combinations. Both signs love peace and harmony. They avoid conflicts and tension as much as possible. Both have a cordial, soft quality, and are likely to get along quite well.
Taurus is an earth sign, and Libra is an air sign, but their differences are not as significant as other sign combinations because both are ruled by Venus, the planet of art, beauty, fun, and cooperation.

Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, at 09 degrees Scorpio benefits anyone born around the thirtieth of any month, especially October, and for anyone with planets and points at 09 degrees.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, at 04 degrees Aquarius is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the twenty-fifth of January, April, June, July, August, and October and for anyone with planets or points at 04 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, and Scorpio.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 21 degrees Scorpio, is bringing opportunities for anyone born around the twelfth of any month and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 21 degrees.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Saturn at 03 degrees Capricorn is likely creating challenges, tests, delays, losses, and realities for anyone born around the twenty-fourth of March, May, June, July, September, and December and for anyone with points or planets around 03 degrees of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn.
Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius should know that Uranus retrograde at 02 degrees Taurus is likely creating significant shifts, changes, adjustments, and even shocks for those born early in these signs as well as for anyone with planets and points around 02 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius.
Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces should know that Neptune retrograde at 14.5 degrees Pisces is likely bringing confusion, deception, and even debilitating situations for anyone born around the fifth of March, June, August, September, October, and December as well as for anyone with planets and points around 14 to 15 degrees of the above signs.
Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, and Capricorn should know that Pluto, the planet of transformation and new beginnings retrograde at 19 degrees Capricorn, is likely producing significant changes for those born around the tenth of January, April, June, July, August, and October, and for anyone with planets or points around 19 degrees of the above signs.

03:15 AM Moon enters Taurus where it remains until Saturday morning when it enters the next sign, Gemini.
06:10 AM - (Moon in Taurus 00 Uranus in Taurus) can create highly charged situations, especially involving females. There can be an increase in one’s instincts, willfulness, and motivations, but also restlessness, excitability, bluntness, and impatience. If you are in the middle of an intense conversation, for example, keep in mind how highly charged the situation can become. Don’t overreact or else matters may quickly get out of hand.
08:34 AM + (Moon in Taurus 120 Saturn Capricorn) provides an atmosphere for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities, especially involving business and professional matters. People with this lunar aspect are steady, responsible, hard-working, and conscientious.
08:58 AM – (Moon in Taurus 45 Mars/Uranus) this intense factor combines the energies related to the descriptions for 06:10 AM above and 11:50 AM below.
10:27 AM + (Moon in Taurus 90 Node in Leo) favors teamwork and networking and enhances social interactions and any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
11:50 AM - (Moon in Taurus 90 Mars in Aquarius) this lunar aspect intensifies any situation. Emptions can run high. There is more likely to be boldness, impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions, especially involving females. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.
07:34 PM + * (Sun in Libra 120 Mars in Aquarius) is in effect this past week. People with this aspect can have an abundance of physical energy and self-confidence. They can take on new projects and challenges with ease. They tend to be bolder and less dependent on others' affirmations and approval. Taking a firm stand or striking out on their own is more likely to work out for them than for most other people.
09:01 PM + (Moon in Taurus 180 Venus in Scorpio) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
10:26 PM + (Moon in Taurus 150 Mercury in Libra) creates a more active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds which is conducive to reflection, communication, discussions, and writing.

11:52 AM - (Moon in Taurus 135 Saturn Capricorn) can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be melancholic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
01:20 PM + (Moon in Taurus 120 Pluto in Capricorn) symbolizes females who are influential, productive, and connected with her deeper feelings and emotions. Being in the earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn, this aspect also increases the possibilities for practicality and solid business plans.
06:36 PM + (Moon in Taurus 180 Jupiter in Scorpio) increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
06:36 PM Moon Void until 09:25 AM Saturday morning when it enters the next sign, Taurus. Recall that during Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. Guidelines for Using This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
