Full Moon

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

Moon in Aries from this evening until Thursday morning favors Aries and any planets and points in your horoscope in Aries. It also favors Aries-related activities such as anything requiring energy and initiative with no order taking, supervision, or physical confinement; opportunities to explore, build, and create new spaces and products; and anything athletic, outdoors, and physically challenging.

It’s Still Heads Up

As explained in my last newsletter, the four challenging * factors in the sky this Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday are not conducive for right timing, especially Sun square Saturn explained in this newsletter. All this is more likely to create weather and other extremes as well as more intensities, violence, complications, upsets, and uncertainties than usual around the world this past week.

After tomorrow evening when Sun square Saturn peaks, matters began to clear up and right timing finds a better space starting Thursday afternoon ET. If you are trying to make a decision about what to do and when to do so, contact me.

Full Moon

Sun entered Libra on Saturday and Moon entered Aries this evening to form a Full Moon at 10:52 PM highlighting the essence of all relationships--the battle between one’s own individual will and destiny (Aries) and the need to compromise and find meaningful relationships (Libra).

Aries rules the head symbolizing it’s rushing forward like a ram into whatever it butts up against. Libra rules the kidneys and lower back symbolizing it’s bending over backward, putting pressure on the lower back, to accommodate others.

Aries sees life more from their own needs and perspective. Libra sees life more from the perspective of others and in terms of relationships. Each approach and perspective has its advantages and disadvantages.

With Aries, it is “me first. I do what I want to when I want to want to. I need to do my thing on my terms. It’s my way or the highway. You can tag along if you want to.” With Libra, it is “I need others in my life. I can’t do it alone. Let’s do this together. I don’t feel fulfilled without others. I will bend over and frankly do anything to make sure I have friends and partners in my life.”

Aries is much more independent while Libra does not act alone and is much more affected by what other people think of them. Aries is action while Libra thinks about it. Aries is antsy and impulsive (let’s get going) while Libra is more passive and fence-sitting (I can’t make up my mind). Aries pushes and asserts while Libra is more passive and cooperative.

For an Aries-Libra relationship to work, you need to reconcile these fundamental personality differences. There needs to be compromise and middle ground between these needs, or else Libra will feel that Aries is too arrogant and Aries will think that Libra is too weak-willed. In fact, we all need to be aware of and learn from our opposite sign.

Monday, September 24

07:03 PM Moon was Void most of today until it entered Aries at this time, and remains in Aries until Thursday morning when it enters the next sign, Taurus.

10:52 PM - (Moon in Aries 180 Sun in Libra) this Full Moon is more significant than usual because it forms discordant aspects to two stress producing planets (Saturn and Uranus) likely bringing weather and other extremes as well as more intensities, violence, complications, and uncertainties than usual around the world this past week.

Tuesday, September 25

12:27 AM - (Moon in Aries 90 Saturn Capricorn) can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be melancholic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.

06:11 AM + (Moon in Aries 180 Mercury in Libra) creates a more active exchange between one’s conscious and unconscious minds which is conducive to reflection, communication, discussions, and writing. However, be careful with gossip and small talk.

06:35 AM + (Moon 135 Jupiter in Scorpio) increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive feelings, and uplifting emotional support.

09:19 AM + * (Mercury in Libra 45 Jupiter in Scorpio) in effect the past four days, this aspect brings a wealth of ideas, intellectual success, and the gift of speech. It is associated with the writer, scientist, and trial attorney. People with this aspect are open-minded and want to broaden their experiences. They have writing, teaching, and language skills and are more interested in the big picture than details.

12:08 PM + (Moon in Aries 150 Venus in Scorpio) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

Note: the previous four aspects are all positive while the following solar aspect is more significant and it is challenging.

07:50 PM - * (Sun in Libra 90 Saturn Capricorn) this aspect occurs twice a year and is in effect this past week. It is particularly relevent for right timing. For important decisions and fresh starts, it’s more appropriate to wait for a better time because Sun-Saturn does not put the odds on your side. The Sun represents men and our primary direction and purpose in life. A discordant Saturn brings negation, delays, and losses. Therefore, anyone new you meet and anything you start is less likely to work out. Men are more likely to be negative, demanding, critical, and opposing. Business and political leaders are under increased pressure for their actions.

Wednesday, September 26

06:28 AM - (Moon Aries 90 Pluto in Capricorn) can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving women and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors often not realized till later.

11:08 AM + (Moon in Aries 150 Jupiter in Scorpio) enhances social consciousness, kindness, helpfulness, benevolence, positive feelings, and emotional support.

11:08 AM Moon Void until 03:15 AM Thursday morning when it enters the next sign, Taurus. Recall that during Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

Guidelines for Using This Information

I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.

For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.

The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.

The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.

The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.

During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
