Heads Up

Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter

Moon in Pisces from this morning until Monday evening favors Pisces and any planets and points in your horoscope in Pisces. It is also favorable for any Pisces-related activity such as art, dance, music, movies, entertainment, theater, drama, poetry, painting, and photography; daydreaming, imagination, and creativity; helping the less fortunate with social services and charity work; and prayer, meditation, reflection, hypnosis, and spiritual pursuits.

Heads Up

There are four challenging * factors in the sky this Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. This does not lend to right timing and will likely create more extremes, intensities, violence, complications, and uncertainties than usual around the world. One example is the Brett Kavanaugh Senate confirmation hearings in Washington.

The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success.

The first two challenging * factors (Mercury 90 Saturn and Sun 150 Uranus) are covered in this newsletter. The other two (a Full Moon and Sun 90 Saturn) will be explained in my next newsletter.

Saturday, September 22

08:26 AM Moon enters Pisces where it remains until Monday evening when it enters the next sign, Aries.

05:40 PM + (Moon in Pisces 150 Node in Leo) favors reaching out to others because this aspect aids teamwork and networking, and enhances social interactions as well as any connections or alliances with groups large and small.

09:54 PM * (Sun enters Libra) where it remains until October 23 when it enters the next sign, Scorpio. Sun in Libra for the coming month brings benefits (not major) to Libra and the other air signs, Gemini and Aquarius, as well as the house in your horoscope ruled by Libra.

10:45 PM + - * (Mercury in Libra 150 Uranus in Taurus) in effect the past few days, this aspect lends to a quick, flexible, and astute mind. People with this aspect are typically open-minded and have talents with the technical sciences. They are intellectually independent, curious, and flexible, but can also be contradictory and scattered with too many irons in the fire.

Sunday, September 23

12:21 AM + (Moon in Pisces 120 Venus in Scorpio) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.

12:45 PM - * (Mercury in Libra 90 Saturn in Capricorn) in effect the past few days, this aspect occurs twice a year and can bring differences of opinions as well as problems and delays with travel, communication, contracts, and agreements. People with this aspect have good powers of observation and depth of thought because Mercury is thoughts and thinking, and Saturn is deep and thorough. They prefer the concrete and practical versus the abstract but are prone to being inhibited, mistrustful, and even depressed. They often wish they could feel “a bit lighter,” but their mind keeps wanting to figure everything out with preciseness and exactness.

01:21 PM + - (Moon in Pisces 00 Neptune in Pisces) this once a month lunar aspect increases the possibilities for emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual feelings and aspirations. Overall, this aspect is better suited for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.

05:23 PM - (Moon in Pisces 45 Uranus in Taurus) enhances instincts and willfulness, but also brings nervousness, anxiety, upsets, restlessness, excitability, and emotionally charged situations.

08:43 PM - (Moon in Libra 45 Mars in Aquarius) intensifies any situation with the emotions ruling and often getting out of hand. There is more likely to be impatience, impulsiveness, strong desires, and even anger and forceful actions. If you are trying to resolve an issue with someone, for example, be aware that volatile emotions are more likely than rational thinking.

Note: the two challenging lunar aspects above (Moon-Uranus and Moon-Mars) occur close together and have similar themes.

09:29 PM + * (Mercury in Libra 120 Mars in Aquarius) in effect the past few days, this aspect brings the ability to be quick and decisive with one’s thoughts and words. People with this aspect have strong and active minds, and love to discuss and debate matters openly and directly.

Monday, September 24

01:25 AM + (Moon in Pisces 120 Jupiter in Scorpio) enhances social consciousness, kindness, helpfulness, benevolence, positive feelings, and emotional support.

01:25 AM Moon Void until 07:03 PM this evening when it enters the next sign, Aries.

Recall that during Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

03:08 PM - * (Sun in Libra 150 Uranus in Taurus) in effect this past week, this aspect increases the possibilities for originality, creativity, and breakthroughs, especially with science and technology. However, it also brings sudden, unexpected, disruptive, and even shocking events and decisions especially involving men, and increases the possibilities for weather extremes, earthquakes, violence, anarchy, and military actions.

07:03 PM Moon enters Aries where it remains until Thursday morning when it enters the next sign, Taurus.

Guidelines for Using This Information

I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.

For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.

The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.

The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.

The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties. Sometimes there is a + and - factor which means the aspect can exhibit both positive and negative influences.

The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.

Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.

During Void periods there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.

The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are significant aspects currently challenging your horoscope.

Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are a multitude of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
