Three Productive Days
Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
It’s a good time to roll up your sleeves and get things done with Sun in Virgo and Moon in Capricorn from this morning until Wednesday evening.
In astrology, there are four elements: fire, earth, air, and water. The element(s) emphasized in your horoscope is a leading factor to consider in analyzing a horoscope. It tells a lot about a person’s basic needs and approach to life.
People with an earth emphasis (Taurus Virgo Capricorn) are typically more methodical, efficient, and productive than the other signs. Their hands-on and common-sense approach to life can be helpful in many practical ways.
Virgo is related to employees and retail and service businesses including repairs, problem-solving, and computer work. Capricorn is related to the business owner, administrator, manager, executive, organizer, and bureaucrat. Both signs have a logical, scientific and technical bent. There are also more perfectionistic and demanding of themselves and others than other sign combinations.
Anyone with a Virgo-Capricorn emphasis in their horoscope or relationship will more likely have an alignment of purpose and direction. It is an excellent combination for getting things done in an orderly and efficient way. Virgo is the employee and Capricorn is the boss. Virgo represents unions and Capricorn big business. Virgo is the worker who implements what must be done, and Capricorn is the organizer and taskmaster.
One * Factor
There's only one * factor early this week, but it’s major. Mars square Uranus, in effect the past ten days, is disruptive as explained in my last three newsletters. It creates stressful situations and increases the possibilities for outbursts, rage, strife, assaults, attacks, accidents, injuries, violence, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, extreme weather conditions, electrical storms and blackouts, and battles, suicide bombings, and terrorist acts.
Despite this challenging aspect, the stars are otherwise harmonious, and Monday and Wednesday have a succession of positive lunar aspects described below.
Monday, September 17
07:07 AM Moon enters Capricorn where it remains until Wednesday evening when it enters the next sign, Aquarius.
10:56 AM + (Moon in Capricorn 120 Uranus in Taurus) brings opportunities for instincts, intuition, and forward-looking aspirations especially regarding practical and business matters because the earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn, are involved.
12:24 PM + - (Moon in Capricorn 00 Saturn in Capricorn) this heavy-duty lunar aspect occurs once a month and can manifest both positively and negatively. It provides an atmosphere for orderly, steady, conscientious, pragmatic, and realistic plans and activities, especially involving business and professional matters. This aspect can also bring some realities about your family and the females in your life. People with this lunar aspect are responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be somber, pessimistic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
04:33 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 150 Node in Leo) favors reaching out to others and networking because this aspect favors teamwork and enhances social interactions as well as any connections or alliances with groups large and small.
4:37 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 45 Jupiter in Scorpio) increases the possibilities for kindness, benevolence, positive feelings, and uplifting emotional support.
06:02 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 60 Venus in Scorpio) fosters cooperation, cheerfulness, affections, pleasantries, gracefulness, emotional sharing, and artistic expression, especially involving females.
Note: the two lunar aspects above involve minor aspects, but as a combination, they offer lovely benefits.
Tuesday, September 18
07:01 PM - * (Mars in Aquarius 90 Uranus in Taurus) is the powerful planetary combination highlighted in my last three newsletters. It has been in effect for the past ten days and is relevant to the effects and aftereffects of Hurricane Florence as well as many other stressful and often disastrous situations.
09:02 PM + - (Moon in Capricorn 00 Pluto in Capricorn) this heavy-duty lunar aspect occurs once a month and can manifest both positive and negative influences. It symbolizes females who are influential, productive, and psychic, but this aspect can also create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving women and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors often not realized till later.
Wednesday, September 19
10:19 AM + (Moon in Capricorn 120 Mercury in Virgo) brings opportunities for communication, discussions, writing, and sales. Being in the fire signs, Aries and Sagittarius, this aspect brings additional opportunities for sales, marketing, and promotion.
01:09 PM + (Moon in Capricorn 120 Sun in Virgo) marks a harmonious aspect between the Sun and Moon which was described at the top of this newsletter.
07:20 PM Moon in Capricorn Void until 07:51 PM when it enters the next sign, Aquarius, where it remains until Saturday morning when it enters the next sign, Pisces.
Guidelines for This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be difficult to sort everything out. There are many factors to consider, and sometimes the overlapping influences are contradictory. You might say this is just like life.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
With Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are now significant challenging aspects in your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are dozens of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
