Ed Kluska’s Astrology Newsletter
With Moon in Libra from Monday morning to Wednesday afternoon, it’s a good time to be more Libra-like: reach out to people and be more social, interactive, and accommodating as well as reflective about your relationships.
There are three * factors early this week, most significant is Mars entering Aquarius which is important for the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius) until mid-November.
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's Senate confirmation hearing started last Tuesday. Born February 12, 1965 in Washington, D.C. (birth time unknown), there are no significant negative influences in his horoscope this month, and he has four plus aspects which are in effect ten days before and especially around September 19, 23, 25, and 26.
Sun Sign Updates
Venus, the planet of love, affection, and money, entered Scorpio yesterday to join the other benefic planet, Jupiter, which has been in Scorpio since last October. Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio bring blessings and benefits to Scorpio and the other water signs (Cancer and Pisces) as well as the house in your horoscope ruled by Scorpio. Now at 01 and 02 degrees Scorpio, Venus is especially benefitting anyone born around the beginning of any sign, especially early Scorpio.
Mars, the planet of effort and desire, now at the beginning of Aquarius, is likely bringing stress and conflicts for anyone born around the first day of Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, and Aquarius and for anyone with planets or points around the first degree of the same signs.
Jupiter, the planet of hope, expansion, and good fortune, at 18.5 degrees Scorpio, is bringing opportunities for anyone born around the ninth of any month and for any planets and points in your horoscope around 18 to 19 degrees.
Monday, September 10
11:12 AM + (Moon in Virgo 120 Mars in Capricorn) brings increased energy and a time to trust your instincts especially regarding practical and business matters with the earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn, involved.
11:12 AM Moon in Virgo becomes Void for a short time until 11:19 AM when it enters the next sign, Libra.
12:28 PM + (Moon in Libra 180 Chiron in Aries) brings opportunities for healing relationships and families.
02:48 PM - (Moon in Libra 150 Uranus in Taurus) can create highly charged situations, especially involving females and family matters. There can be an increase in one’s instincts and motivations, but also more willfulness, restlessness, excitability, bluntness, and impatience. If you are in the middle of an intense conversation, for example, keep in mind how highly charged the situation can become. Don’t overreact or else matters may quickly get out of hand.
03:33 PM - (Moon in Libra 90 Saturn in Capricorn) can create issues, worries, and differences, especially involving females and families. People with this lunar aspect are typically responsible, hard-working, and conscientious, but can also be melancholic, lonely, and find it difficult to express their feelings and emotions.
Note: the two challenging lunar aspects above (Moon-Uranus and Moon-Saturn) have similar themes and occur within a short period.
08:55 PM * (Mars enters Aquarius) after being stationary for weeks in the late degrees of Capricorn where it challenged the late degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries Cancer Libra Capricorn). With Mars related to desires, passions, conflicts, urgency, impulsiveness, and stress, check any planet or point you have in the fixed signs (Taurus Leo Scorpio Aquarius). Knowing this is important for right timing because at some time before when Mars enters the next sign, Pisces, on November 15, you are more likely to experience stress and make mistakes due to the increased demands, stress, and possible conflicts related to these planets and points.

This lunar aspect increases the possibilities for haziness and emotional confusion as well as highly refined artistic and spiritual attitudes and aspirations. This period is better for daydreaming, imagination, creativity, prayer, and meditation than for logical discussions and clear-cut decisions.
06:57 PM - (Moon in Libra 90 Pluto in Capricorn) can create complicated interpersonal situations, especially involving women and families. Subtle yet highly charged emotional situations involving manipulation, hidden motives, and power struggles are more likely although these factors often not realized till later.

Guidelines for This Information
I keep this information as clear and straightforward as possible, but even for students of astrology, it can be confusing and overwhelming. For example, at times there are overlapping influences which are difficult to sort out. You might say, it's just like life is.
For starts, keep in mind that these newsletters are not intended to tell you what is going to happen in your life at the times given. Instead, the aspect descriptions provide some of the possible influences you can expect around the times given so you can more wisely plan for and participate in your life. Often, it is obvious which time frames are better than others for timing or starting a party, trip, decision, business, or any other event, for example.
The star (*) factors are more significance for right timing because they are in effect for a more extended time (often up to a week). Any business, project, decision, relationship, wedding, and childbirth, for example, started around the dates given will have the qualities and characteristics of the descriptions listed.
The lunar (Moon) aspects listed are less significant because they are in effect for only hours (versus days) before and until the times (Eastern Time) given, but they are still quite relevant for right timing.
The plus (+) factors for both the * factors and lunar factors are favorable. The minus (-) factors are more likely to bring challenges or difficulties.
The most critical factor with right timing is what’s occurring in your horoscope. When negative aspects dominate your horoscope, the chances of success with right timing diminish no matter how favorable the aspects are in the sky. These newsletters cannot cover what is occurring in your horoscope, but if you apply the information in these newsletters with common sense, you have an advantage with timing your decisions and activities.
The basic premise with right timing is that it helps to have the "stars" on your side. Starting a marriage, trip, surgery, business, real estate deal, or a major purchase, for example, at an inopportune time reduces the chances of success no matter how good your intentions and how hard you try. The better the timing, the higher your chances of success. Even an hour can make a significant difference in important decisions and events.
With Void periods, there tends to be a lull in the energy levels, and what you start or implement is less likely to turn out the way you planned or expected. So, during Void periods it’s usually better to do things with less significance or no purpose in mind versus trying to start something new and vital. If you have a new idea, meet someone new, or start a business, for example, those activities are less likely to amount to much.
The Moon enters each sign of the zodiac about every 28 days and remains in that sign for about two and a half days. When the Moon’s in your sun sign, matters are likely to come more together for you on a short-term basis unless there are now significant challenging aspects in your horoscope.
Note that the traits and qualities I assign to each sign in these newsletters describe more the functions and meanings of the signs versus trying to describe your personality, although at times the descriptions may be entirely accurate. Furthermore, to understand a person’s personality and character from an astrological perspective, there are dozens of factors in a horoscope to consider besides one's sun sign.
